Friendly staff. Queries answered promptly. Lovely to see activities. Include families like the summer fair. Residents look well presented.

The staff work hard and communicate well with each other, the residents, and their relations. There's an excellent variety of activities for those interested in engaging. Cleanliness, safety, and routines are always maintained to a high level. My mother looks well and I trust that medical needs, and hygiene levels are honoured.

My mother has been living at West Hallam Care Home for less than 2 weeks, previously having resided at two local nursing homes. I cannot believe the difference in her demeanour. She is happy and contented for the first time in two years. The management is superb, really hands-on and very caring. The staff are all extremely friendly and obviously care very much about the residents. The food is very good and the general care of my mum is excellent. What a relief to at least find somewhere very good.

My mother-in-law had been at West Hallam Care Home for approx 12 months before she passed away. The staff are all very supportive and promote independence, whilst maintaining dignity and privacy. They promote enrichment into their lives by offering a range of activities and outings. She had a fabulous 12 months, building relationships with other residents and staff. Her quality of life was excellent and fulfilled even though she had dementia and other health conditions. I would recommend this home to anyone that wants the best for their loved one.

The care home is very clean and tidy. The staff and manager are very nice people to talk to and very helpful. The food is good - a lot to choose from.

My dad was so happy at West Hallam. All the staff were absolutely fabulous. They looked after him and cared for him so well. There is a real family ethos in the home. My dad loved his room, which was very comfortable. Dad enjoyed taking part in a full range of activities in the home. I absolutely recommend West Hallam Care Home.

My wife, who has Alzheimer's, does need a lot of interaction and likes to walk which no home could give without one-to-one care, which no home could give.

Mum went into West Hallam Care Home for respite, the care and attention to the smallest detail have been wonderful. She was depressed, lonely and apprehensive but the team managed to turn this around and she is now happy and contented. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. I would thoroughly recommend this home to anyone who finds themselves in our situation and for the care and commitment shown by staff to all residents.

I have nothing but praise for the West Hallam Care Home. The staff and the management are genuinely, caring and it shows in all sorts of ways. The team are professional, effective, thoughtful, and compassionate. My Dad often comments how well he is looked after and how kind people are. Big thank you and well done!

Mum says it is like living in a five-star hotel! All staff are very sociable and happy to discuss Mum's situation and any concerns without a problem. Much better now we can visit again without an appointment etc. Let's hope it stays that way! Thank you.

My mother has been living at West Hallam Care Home for around a year. She went in quite poorly, underweight and depressed, now she's very happy and eating well. The staff are very caring to my mother and always welcome me when I visit my mother. It's lovely to see my mother smiling and happy living there. She thoroughly enjoys going on trips with the staff.

From the second Dad moved in, he's been at home where the care has been exemplary and nothing has been too much trouble. From the junior staff to senior leadership the message and care have been exceptional. Many times I have worried whether something is being done, only to be told that it's already in hand. Such a relief to know he is being well looked after - thank you, everyone!

Mum is always clean and well presented, with nails painted and as her great-grandson says ‘'mama has no whiskers’, this attention to her care is very reassuring. Her room is beautiful, staff are always available to talk through any concerns or fill us in on what mum has been doing. An amazing team.

My review is written during the most challenging of covid-19. West Hallam is run by the most amazing carers you could ever wish for. They go above and beyond to care for and love my father and all the residents at great risk to themselves and their families during this pandemic. My father is very happy and feels safe at West Hallam, although misses seeing personally myself and my brother and family. I only hope visiting can be resumed in a safe 'covid-safe' space erected by the owners of the group or at least supply an IPad for video calls!

Any contact with staff have been very positive from my experience.
