Overall Experience

A friendly, caring home with staff who are genuinely helpful and approachable. We particularly value the efforts made to ensure my mother-in-law mixes with other residents and has a stimulating life. We really enjoy the Bistro evenings which bring residents, loved ones, family and staff together in a lively and enjoyable way.

Overall Experience

My friend has been in the above care home for the last six months suffering from dementia and other age related problems and the care is first class. She has no complaints about the food and accommodation. The staff are well trained and caring. The home is always clean and fresh. Visitors are always made welcome and offered drinks. Parking is easy. The area is quite pleasant and the building is well maintained.

My next door neighbour has recently joined West Hallam and when I visit with her she always seems happy and well cared for she has been included in all events that take place throughout the home and genuinely seems happy when I visit her. I have enjoyed attending all the fundraising events that takes place and there always seems to be a nice atmosphere at the events with all staff making you feel welcome and taking the time to chat with you. The bistro nights are a fantastic way to spend time with your loved one and they are always fun to attend.

Overall Experience

We try to visit weekly and always find a good atmosphere and welcome - especially a good atmosphere and welcome - especially when certain staff are on duty who 'go the extra mile' and we are, together with my friend, offered a cup of tea. Sometimes some staff have time to speak with us, which is good and we can get an update on how our friend is doing. Entertainment/ activities are good, the only real negative we have found is the laundry service, as often items of our friends stray and unknown and incorrect items are in his wardrobe. Definitely one of the best care home we have visited.

Hi, I’m Phoebe! I absolutely love having a good chat and getting to know the families and individuals that give us a ring. My goal is to make the process of finding the right home as easy and reassuring as possible.

This is something close to my heart — I’ve had two of my own family members stay within our group, so I truly understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable in your choice.

If you call us during the week, chances are you’ll get me on the other end of the phone. I’m always happy to answer any questions you have — and if I don’t know the answer right away, I’ll make it my mission to find out for you. I’ll be here for you every step of the way, making sure you feel supported, listened to, and at ease.
