Springwood House Residential Care Home

I stayed in Springwood House for respite care and found the home very friendly all the nurses, staff, management and other residents. My room was pleasant with all facilities provided and a comfortable bed. The food was home cooked and very good. Every morning there were activities which were optional. I joined in reminiscing about the war, keep fit and children visiting from a playgroup. I wouldn't hesitate to use Springwood House again.

Following a visit to Springwood. I was so impressed with the accommodation the services offered and the friendliness of the staff that I decided this was the home in which I wished to be a resident. I was fortunate that a room was available and since arriving, I have not been disappointed. The meals are varied, substantial and a credit to the staff. The carers are cheerful, helpful and it is reassuring to know they are near at hand if required. I am very settled here and would thoroughly recommend it.

From my many experiences of visiting I would recommend this residential care home to anybody. The management and staff are very polite, friendly and very accommodating always with a smile on their faces. The treatment my father receives is excellent we have no complaints at all. His room is always clean and well maintained and the food he receives is first rate. If there is a problem they will always call immediately.

she doesn't like being away from home but found it to be a very "homely" care home and the people were very caring. Two ladies, in particular, are lovely and made her feel at home. All the carers were very attentive and looked after her very well. We will definitely be using Springwood House for mum's respite next time we are away.

My parents are thriving here. They look so much happier and more relaxed than they have in ages. The staff are all absolutely lovely and the place has a county house hotel feel about it. I was concerned about my parents having to live in a residential home as I'd experienced several and they were really quite depressing. This place makes us all happy and that's all you need really!

Very friendly and approachable staff always willing to help. Residents well cared for always look very presentable. Plenty of choice for meals and fluids always accessible. Lots of activities for residents to take part in which I have witnessed them enjoying.

Overall very good facilities. The room was very good. Staff and care excellent. We both enjoyed our stay at the home. And thank you all for everything.

Springwood was a delightful respite for me. The environment was beautiful and cared for, making me feel very comfortable and at home, which also made me feel relaxed, cared for and rested. All the staff were attentive and looked after me wonderfully.

I absolutely love coming to visit my Mum here in this lovely, peaceful and serene atmosphere. My mother is also very happy here, enjoying meeting new friends and enjoying lovely home-cooked meals. The care she is receiving is absolutely second to none and I am very impressed with all aspects relating to both her physical and mental health. Many many thanks.

Good care is provided. The staff are very friendly and enjoy looking after us.

My mother has settled in the care home quite quickly. This has a lot to do with the size of the home (residents) and the helpfulness and kindness of the staff, she enjoys the company at meal times but has yet to take part in the daytime activities. This will come in time. So far, I have nothing to be worried about with the care she is receiving.

Words can't describe adequately the love and care that my mother-in-law received at Springwood House. The staff - from management to junior carers, are kind, understanding and completely professional. She had many happy years at Springwood House and it was only because of her very severe dementia in her last 6 months that she found her life very difficult.

Excellent residential home. All the staff very friendly, professional and caring. Nothing's ever too much trouble for the staff. Home very clean and homely. A good selection of activities all the time. Quality of food is excellent, all home cooked and delicious. Beautiful gardens and views.
