Wheathills House provides residential care in a warm and friendly atmosphere where staff get to know residents to ensure their needs and wishes are continually met. The care team is dedicated to providing a high standard of care that is tailored to each resident. Day care is also available for members of the community.

Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms as they wish. All rooms are ensuite and have TV points and call systems, plus there is a good mobile network plus Wifi available.The home has various communal areas including a light and airy conservatory, and coffee lounge where residents can relax with family and friends.

Meals at Wheathills are all home cooked and can be tailored to meet any dietary requirements.

Residents can take part in a range of activities at the home, which are designed to stimulate residents and help to improve their quality of life. Activities are carefully chosen to meet the needs and interests of individual residents. The home also benefits from visiting healthcare professionals and a local clergy.

My father has been in Wheathills House since December 2015. Despite our reservations about his ability to fit into a care home at 94 and a half years old, my father has settled well and regards the place as "home". He is well fed, always looks clean and presentable and his room is always clean and fresh.
We are welcome at any time.

My father-in-law has been in Wheathills House since November 2015.
The level of care is superb, delivered by an excellent team who are obviously committed to what they do.
The premises are always clean, tidy and devoid of any odours that one might normally associate with some care homes.
My father-in-law's
room is always spotless and very obviously maintained on a daily basis to a high standard.
The food quality is high and always well presented. My wife and I, along with other family members, have in the recent past accepted an invitation to join the residents for lunch. As well as good food, the atmosphere was happy and we were made very welcome. It was heartening to see the residents enjoy their meal and to observe the high level of care and supervision provided by the staff.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Wheathills to other families.

Friendly home. Excellent night staff nothing was too much trouble for them and they answered the call bell very quickly.
A small incident with cleanliness in toilets which was resolved very quickly once the staff were made aware.
