Overall Experience

We are generally very happy with the care at Aigburth - and really, really appreciate the care and attention of one senior carer in particular. We do, occasionally have frustrations about communications. We live away from Leicester and rely on telephone and email for contact with staff. This doesn't always work effectively. The "satisfactory" comment on management reflects the fact that there have been a number of changes over the last two years.

Modern, always clean and well designed. Very good care delivered by always cheerful and sensitive staff. My 95 year old father who is very difficult to please nowadays has been impressed by my mother's care since she went in in January and often joins her for meals and the excellent entertainment which stimulates all those involved. I looked at many homes last year and we are so pleased that we chose Aigburgh over the others.

Overall Experience

Aigburth is a leading example of how a care home should function. It is light and airy, lovely décor, large, spacious rooms with full en-suite facilities. The standard of cleanliness is excellent, laundry care is excellent and my mother states the food is very good indeed!

Above all of this, the staff are wonderful. They are caring, compassionate, patient with the residents and treat them like their own family.

There is excellent pastoral care from the chaplain. The activities co-ordinators go above and beyond any others I have seen to entertain and involve residents in activities.

My mother was very frail when she first went into Aigburth and has absolutely blossomed in their care.

From the management, through the administration/facilities staff, the carers, laundry, kitchen etc. - everyone makes it their mission to ensure the physical, emotional and spiritual welfare of the residents is their top priority.

I am thankful for the piece of mind they give me.

Overall Experience

Wholly satisfied with the home, its situation and ambience is excellent, the decor and ensuite facilities of the accomodation are very pleasing. The attention given by the staff to my wife during a short but painful problem was second to none, they have a genuine concern not only for the residents but also for their relatives. This is on a daily basis.
