The only issue I am aware of is when my grandmother's hearing aid went missing and nobody noticed. They still haven't been found or replaced, which frustrates me because I cannot communicate with her anymore and I treasure the conversations I had with my grandmother before. I learned so many things and I cannot learn anything else as long as she has no hearing aid.

Absolutely brilliant! Obviously, care home staff are trained to deal with dementia as I have both mom and dad residing there and dad can be violent with the Alzheimer's. They have coped with a lot of his behaviour problems in the last month he has been there. Carers that actually care. Amazing!

Since my auntie has been at Hadrian House she has come on loads and her speech has improved hugely since having her stroke. I always find the home to be very welcoming where when I come in the staff will always offer me a hot drink.
Shey seems really happy with being at Hadrian house as she is now with my mum who also lives here.

The home is always smelling nice and all the carers are really good and helpful.

I find my nan to have settled really well at Hadrian House. My nan loves a shower in the morning and the staff are always happy to comply with this. Since my nan has been in the home she seems so much happier. The staff are always so helpful and caring and if I ever have any concerns I know I can always talk to the manager.

The staff are very friendly and caring, doing their best to reassure some of the residents who are very anxious etc. My mother says the food is wonderful and there is plenty of it, her only complaint is that she has a room with no toilet or shower but with the refurbishment under ways this might be possible in the near future.

Hadrian House is an excellent care home. It is large, spacious, bright and welcoming with several different lounges, a good dining room and kitchen. All of the staff that I met from the manager to the care assistants were helpful, kind, informative and supportive. Although the bedroom did not have an en-suite, it did have a sink and was of a good size with a reasonable level of furniture.

When my father died in November 2014, my mum went down hill fast, she has had alzheimers for about 10 years and became aggressive and worried about everything. Since mum has been in Hadrian House she is a different person, they have made her feel at home. The carers are so understanding, the home is safe, beautifully clean and very homely. I do not worry at all about y mum as I know she is being well looked after and very happy.

Hadrian House is the friendliest care home I know, my 94 year old mother moved in there when she could no longer live alone and didn't want to move in with me as I live in another town. The staff are patient and very attentive and caring. I visit once a week and always go and look at her room and it's always spotless. The dining room is attractive and food is cooked on the premises. Sometimes someone returns from a hospital stay whilst I'm there and they are always greeted warmly. I'm very happy for my mother to be there.
