My mum has been a resident at Kibworth Court care home for just under a year and in this time I can honestly say it has improved considerably. Things are certainly happening within the home to up date all communal areas and bedrooms. The food has always been of a good standard and the staff are attentive. My mum is very happy here and we have no complaints. Thank you to all the hard working staff.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. We're so pleased to hear your mum is happy at Kibworth Court and that you've noticed the positive improvements. Your kind words mean a lot to our team, and we'll be sure to share them. Thank you for your continued support.
Excellent, I'm always kept up to date with MY husbands needs the new manager is fantastic. Excellent staff and excellent facility's. Its like home from home. No job is too small and no job is to big! They go above and beyond. THANKYOU
I was told that mum would have a shower this Sunday morning but this did not happen . I was told this was because there was no female carer available. The female staff member I spoke to told me she was the only female staff member on today.
The television was on in the lounge but no one was watching it. Would it not be better to play music instead?
The food choices were fine Good choice.
Our new Home Manager has discussed these matters with you during your recent meetings and understands your concerns regarding shower...
Some cleaners had an interesting approach. They cleaned around small objects, eg: footstool, rather than move them out of the way and clean the entire floor. Similarly, when wiping trays, the jug and glass were not moved. Further, they only picked up dropped items if asked, even if they had cleaned around them.
The quality of the food varied enormously from day to day. Sometimes I found it inedible. The food was too old-fashioned for my generation. It was frequently cold and/or too salty. As a vegetarian, I was twice given a meal containing animal products. It was not immediately obvious and I started eating before I realised. (Perhaps you have to be a vegetarian to understand how distressing it was to have meat or fish in my mouth). Further, serveral times I was given a meat-eater's meal without the meat, thus demonstrating a lack of understanding of what constitutes a healthy vegetarian diet.
Notwithstanding the above, I would recommend Kibworth Court because, most importantly, the staff were beyond lovely.
We're genuinely sorry for the issues you encountered. Your comments about housekeeping are appreciated, and has been...
It is evident that the full team at Kibworth are devoted to providing the highest level of care for their residents. The environment is happy, caring, professional and warm. Each resident is treated with respect and provided with compassionate living and trusted care. I highly recommend Kibworth Court.
Thank you for taking the time to write your kind feedback. We are delighted to hear these words and it will give me a lot of pleasure to share your feedback with the team.
Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating for our nanna and us. We would come bounding in as the 5 of us, would bring our dogs in, her great grandson from 6 months old obsessed with pushing cars up and down the hallway nearly causing accidents. Always greeted with a smile, some chocolate and a dog treat. My nanna was so comfortable and happy from the very beginning which was unbelievably reassuring. And towards the end of her life, the love and compassion you showed her will never be forgotten. Thank you so much.
Hi, Thank you for taking the time to write your kind words about yours and your nana's experience at Kibworth Court. I will pass your feedback to the team who I am sure will appreciate hearing this.
He has been there nearly 4 years now, and he loves it. All staff are so good to him and pass little jokes when they enter his room, which he loves. He loves the food, always tells me what he's had for lunch. He's so happy there, I wouldn't want him anywhere else.
Big thank you to all staff.
Thank you for your very kind feedback. It is always makes us happy to read such positive words. I will pass it on to the team who I am sure will be pleased to receive this.
The bedroom was painted before moving in, but the curtains are old and not too good; the room is of a good size.

Hi Caroline, firstly may I express how sorry I am to hear of your mother's sudden passing. It makes us very proud to hear that the team at Kibworth Court were able to offer you both practical support and compassion during this difficult time whilst taking care to ensure your mother was comfortable...
My parents both lived in Kibworth Court this year and both were in their 90’s. As a married couple they were always treated with total respect and extreme kindness. The staff could not have been more caring or diligent in looking after them. I can only thank them, and commend the manager for the standards of service she and her team deliver. Simply outstanding. Thank you.
Our management and care team always aim to deliver the highest standard of person centred care, and the fact they were able to do this for your parents is very pleasing.
Our mum has just celebrated her 80th birthday at Kibworth Court. The staff are fantastic, nothing ever is too much trouble. They laid on a wonderful afternoon tea for us all. Mum always feels safe and secure at Kibworth, an amazing place with amazing staff.
we are very pleased to hear that your Mum had a wonderful 80th at the home. Our Management and team always strive to ensure the highest quality of care within the home. Thank you for your positive feedback.
Mum and Dad have been made to feel very welcome and are treated with dignity. I feel that the staff have made an effort to get to know them personally. The home is always busy so occasionally calls for assistance can take a while to follow up. The staff have made efforts to set up Mum and Dad's room to their liking with safety also in mind. We are very reassured that they are receiving very good care from the care staff. On Mothering Sunday a special tea was laid on with entertainment from two of the staff which lifted the whole atmosphere.
Thank you for your open and honest feedback which is valued greatly. It is really appreciated to hear your mum and dad are getting all the care they need and are treated with dignity.
Beautiful homely home, with fabulous, caring engaging and diligent staff. Looks nice, smells nice, feels nice. Welcoming to visitors so that you feel part of the family too. My mother suffers with dementia which is now in the later stages. She has settled so very quickly and is clearly happy. Our whole family feels supported at this very difficult time by this care home. The facility itself has many lovely light bright areas where residents and visitors can spend time together and there is so much for residents and visitors to do together. I really cannot find a negative. Just a sincere thank you for being such a rock and providing such a high level of service.
Thank you for your kind comments. We are so glad your mum is happy and getting all the care she needs. Our staff do try to provide the best care so it's really valued to hear and that you and your family feel supported too.
Theme events held, which are a lively experience.

The activities they provide for the residents is varied from singing groups to craft groups and trips out. The ladies in their care can enjoy having their nails and hair done all in the comfort of their care home.
Thank you for your kind feedback. All our staff do try to provide the best care and it's valued to hear residents enjoy the activities.
We wanted to buy our relative a Birthday cake and they said not to bother as they had her special day in hand with a cake and a cake and a Birthday party. She loved it. Thank you, to all the staff for making such a difference to my aunts quality of life.
Thank you for your kind comments and taking the time to send a review. We're so glad to hear how happy your aunt is, it's always good to have positive feedback and greatly appreciated by staff.
The standard of the care home is excellent. Care exceptional and staff very tolerant. Rooms are excellent and cleaned daily. Food superb if you are able to eat. Wish I could have my lunch there. Very safe environment and no escapees. Would definitely recommend. All staff very friendly and helpful.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, which is really valued to hear. You are welcome for lunch anytime.
The home was clean, tidy and hygienic, with good communal space and ambience. The staff were happy, professional, caring, considerate and dedicated. The daily activities keep both residents and staff engaged and happy with all festivals celebrated to the fullest.
Food was great.
We could not fault the care and would wholeheartedly recommend to others.
Thank you for your lovely feedback which was appreciated by all the staff. I am glad we were there to help at a difficult time to provide the care your mother needed and that she enjoyed the activities.
On arrival - an open pleasing environment with residents calm/being attended to in the sitting rooms. There may be music gently playing, a resident on the piano or another singing - not at the same time! Activities are always on the go - Halloween decorations inside/outside were amazing with residents having helped to create them. A great atmosphere with lots of laughter.
Thank you for your kind comments. It was a pleasure getting to know you. Our staff take pride in all the care and support they provide so your feedback is greatly appreciated.
My mother stayed at the home for 3 and a half years, including through all of the lockdowns, when access was difficult. I had always thought the home was very well managed, but it was only towards the end, when I had spent such a long time there that I really appreciate the kindness, patience and dedication of the staff. I would have no reservations of any family member, no matter how challenging being cared for at this home.
Thank you for your kind feedback, it was our pleasure getting to know you. We take pride in the care our staff provide.
