For over 4 years Lakeside have cared for our Mum. Mum had dementia and we didn't see her for a long time due to Covid restrictions. As soon as those restrictions were lifted we were able to visit and the staff where so welcoming. Lakeside is a lovely warm spotless safe place.
The staff are friendly
and so caring. Mum's room was a good size with an ensuite. Some rooms have a beautiful view over the lake. Everywhere is so clean with none of the unpleasant odours that i came across on the search for somewhere for Mum to spend her final years.
Thank you all so much.

Our sons, Will and Tom, recently stayed at Sandpipers for respite in September, and we couldn't have been happier with the care they received. From the moment we arrived, the team were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail of their needs. The staff showed genuine kindness, patience, and professionalism
throughout their stay, ensuring both boys were comfortable, happy, and well looked after. Communication was excellent, and we felt reassured knowing they were in such capable hands. It was clear that the team took time to get to know them as individuals, which made a real difference. The environment was calm, clean, and friendly, and the activities provided helped make their stay enjoyable and engaging. We're so grateful to everyone at Sandpipers for their dedication and compassion - it gave us complete peace of mind. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sandpipers to any family looking for truly person-centred respite care.

Willows Lodge Care Home has been in our lives for 10 years. My now late father has been a resident here. The staff go above and beyond for him. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and accommodating for our nanna and us. We would come bounding in as the 5 of us, would bring our dogs in, her great grandson from 6 months old obsessed with pushing cars up and down the hallway nearly causing accidents. Always greeted with a smile, some chocolate
and a dog treat. My nanna was so comfortable and happy from the very beginning which was unbelievably reassuring. And towards the end of her life, the love and compassion you showed her will never be forgotten. Thank you so much.

My initial feelings were doubtful that this was the right abode for my husband - 2 managers leaving in quick succession and then thankfully, Dundoran found itself a suitable, friendly, caring manager and slowly the staff improved also. I now feel my husband is in a safe place, cared for by caring staff,
who keep in touch with me, informing me of changes in medication etc. The building itself is being redecorated at present, and some work is required in the gardens but I am assured that this will take place. I now feel that I have peace of mind.

He has been there nearly 4 years now, and he loves it. All staff are so good to him and pass little jokes when they enter his room, which he loves. He loves the food,

Senior support worker, excellent, the manager was not well and on permanent sick leave, the new manager very good. Rooms not cleaned regularly, public areas clean, bedroom furniture old so I purchased profile bed frames, bedside table, TV and he hs his own chair. Husband eats in his room. The food is
not hot, but he chose not to go to the dining room. Still has a toilet frame in his wardrobe. Sink bracket in his toilet -
The bedroom was painted before moving in, but the curtains are old and not too good; the room is of a good size.

My sister was admitted to Dundoran on 18/02/2025, she was suffering from a fractured hip and advanced vascular dementia. She was a resident here for only seven weeks and was confined to bed as she was unable to walk. During this time, her care by the staff was kind and considerate, always keeping her
clean and comfortable in the bright and friendly bedroom. Her care was quite challenging for the staff, but they always treated her with dignity.
