My dad was there for nearly 4-months before he passed away, and we couldn't have ask for a better place. He always said that he was looked after ever so well, the home was clean and the staff were exemplary. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thanks to everyone for all your care during Dad's stay with you.
Good.
After only a few weeks we can see a difference in my Mother in Law, seems happy and chatty. Staff seem caring, plenty of interaction. Rooms are nice and kept clean and tidy. Washing comes back ironed and on coat hangers. A choice of meals too. Very happy.
My mother was cared for by the wonderful caring and professional PHG team. It was a warm bath for both her and our family. The attention to not only the physical and mental health of my mother, but also the emotional path she and our family must walk, was just wonderful. Above and beyond our expectations.
Since moving to Parkhouse Grange her condition has improved and she is now very happy and cared for and safe.
Looked after loved one very well and still does. Looks like an excellent menu every day, only downside my loved one seems to wander about not looking happy sometimes.
My husband has young onset Alzheimer's. We were concerned because he is so much younger than would normally be associated with a care home, but he has settled in really well and loves the staff. The care he receives is excellent, cannot fault the staff. The staff are friendly and helpful.
All the people involved with the everyday running of this care home are excellent. I am always delighted to visit my mother at Parkhouse Grange. Unfortunately, my mother is currently unwell and everyone there is supportive of trying to get her back on track. This is very reassuring to me considering how busy everyone is. Thank you all at Parkhouse Grange.
However, any concerns I may have had were very quickly dispelled and mum has flourished. In fact, mum is the happiest she has been for some time as the caring and committed staff have enabled her to maintain some independence and dignity whilst providing stimulating events and activities with plenty of interaction. Mum is always well fed, clean, comfortable and above all her individual wishes and needs are respected and met.
I simply cannot rate the entire staff team highly enough.
My mum who has a number of problems has been made very welcome by all the staff who treat the residents with respect and dignity. I haven't seen the standard of food personally but my sister says it is fine and mum gets help eating when necessary. Bedrooms are smallish but clean and adequately furnished. The home has a welcoming feel for residents and visitors and is clean and nicely furnished. The gardens and location are good. The home is safe and secure.
The care home is a pleasant place to be where the staff are kind, helpful and treat the residents with sympathy and understanding. They keep a careful watch on the patient's medical needs and arrange for any treatment they may need. Relatives are kept informed of any problems that may arise and action is taken to address them. The residents also appreciate the entertainment that is laid on from time to time it really brings them alive.
I have always found the staff and management very approachable and very caring to the residents.
The doctor's surgery they use is also excellent and you can always contact the doctors if required.
I have often visited Mum when they have musical entertainment which seems to stimulate the resident. I have also been told the home is to be refurbished shortly.
I have found all the staff exceptional in caring for my sister in law. Standards are very high, I could not ask for more. I have no worries with my sister. The carers always contact me if there is a problem. Excellent care.
Most importantly, my mother is very happy. She is well looked after and treated with respect by all the staff. The staff are approachable and helpful. Overall, I am very satisfied with the care my mother receives.
If you want your loved one to be looked after in the same way you would do yourself, then there is no finer establishment than Parkhouse Grange. I cannot praise the staff enough for their dedication to their duty of care.
They really look after Mum and I have every confidence in their care. The activities they put on encourage the residents to take part and stimulate them. I love the fact that they have a Facebook page which helps my family and friends keep up to date with Mum.
The staff are very helpful and able to visit everyday for an hour.
All the staff have been really helpful and friendly, nothing is too much. We have had some issues with my father in law but I have felt supported in dealing with him.
Mum is so much better since she has been in Park House. She is always nicely dressed (this would not have happened at home as she would forget to put on clean clothes). She has gained weight, the food always smells and looks nice. She likes the staff who are always considerate to her and she says she can have a laugh with them. If she is not well they will get the Dr. in to see her. She always enjoys the entertainment joining In with the singing etc or meeting the animals when they visit. We can always speak to the staff and manager if need be so are very happy for her to be there.
