I visit my long and close friend every week. She seems very happy and contented and has found a love for artwork.

Dad was moved to West View after first home closed. The staff immediately (and continue to do so) make Dad happy, healthy and well looked after in a safe and loving environment. Communication with me has been excellent. Dad has a small number of visitors (vicar, friends and family) and they say exactly the same. When I visit I am always included in meetings with the doctor and carers. It may not look the Ritz but the care and other important things are excellent.

My sister needed care after a nasty fall and was then not able to look after herself.
West View has proved to be a lifeline for us.
She has settled in and we are amazed how content and happy she is.
This is due to the caring attitude of the staff and management team.
We can go and visit any time of day without making an appointment.
And at all times she is clean, happy and contented.

The home is always busy, does all sorts of activities and I would like to say a big thank you.

My father who has Alzheimer's was taken ill when mum into hospital. West View House treated dad with great respect and care and made him feel comfortable very quickly.

The house was well run and the staff were excellent for the 7 days of respite care required.

Overall Experience

The carers at the home are excellent. They are always helpful to residents and visitors alike and nothing is too much trouble. My father and the other residents are treated with dignity and the carers are compassionate when it comes to end of life care. The home is always clean and comfortable, both in the communal areas and the residents own rooms. Residents have a good choice of food and my father looks forward to meal times.

A thank you just doesn't seem enough for this home who looked after my 100 year old aunty. The carers where compassionate and gave my aunty so much love and care, she often told me how lucky she was to live at West View.
