Orchard Manor View is an excellent care home. I am very pleased with the quality of the home and, most importantly, the care of the residents. Although my grandmother unfortunately didn't get to spend as much time at home, she was really happy and safe here. I would like to thank all the staff for their
kindness and support, and a special shout-out to all members of staff who were extremely caring and showed our family compassion through the later stages of my grandmother's journey.

We needed to move my late mother-in-law with Alzheimer's to somewhere more local and visited a lot of local care homes to select one. From the moment we turned up unannounced one weekend to have a look around we were instantly impressed by the staff with their knowledge; friendliness and professionalism.
We were made to feel welcome, the home was clean and the staff were engaging. When it came to moving her in they did anything they could to help and settle her in. Every time we visited we never found her on her own. She was always being looked after. If we needed help whilst visiting a member of staff was always readily available to help in any way they could. When it came to switch from private funding to local authority they did everything they could to help with the process. When she passed away the staff were genuinely upset yet still did everything they could on the day to help. I would like to go on record to thank all of the staff for all of their support and care.

My first attraction to the home were the layout and the rooms. Mostly on ground level with large windows and French doors which face onto garden or courtyard. Feels like you are sitting in your own lounge watching the birds and other wildlife. The rooms and bathrooms are large, beautifully designed
and impeccably clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. Varied food and drink are home-cooked and provided all through the day. Activities are provided morning and afternoon and are interesting and fun. Medication is administered professionally and the home has a good relationship with the GPs. Moving from your own home into a residential home is a big step, especially if you have dementia. Understandably it takes a while to settle in and for residents and staff to trust and know each other. My mum is happy and relaxed and has fun. It's lovely to hear her say... oh we have had a laugh today... Thank you all at Orchard Manor.

Very impressed with the care at this home. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and take great care of the residents, always checking on them and making sure they are comfortable and happy. The home is incredibly clean and all the meals are fresh. The residents are able to move freely and engage
in activities if they wish. It is always scary moving a relative into a home and leaving them with someone else but I feel relieved knowing that my grandmother is being well taken care of.

I visited a close family friend here and was dreading it as have always heard care homes are not pleasant places. However, upon entering Orchard Manor View I was welcomed so warmly and impressed with the beautiful surroundings. It felt like I was in a boutique hotel and my friend was genuinely happy
to be there! She told me how well looked after she was and how she enjoyed the 'home'; comforts, food and the company of the staff who looked after her really well. My preconceptions of a care home were all proved wrong by Orchard Manor View.

Mum and Dad have been in Orchard Manor View for 6 years now. They have a double room so they can be together. Both are settled and have the best care we as a family could wish for. The staff are all so caring and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They are both looked after so well and we are

Having viewed a number of establishments to place my lifelong friend I chose Orchard Manor View which surpassed both my and my friend's expectations. We do not see it as a home, we view it as a hotel with support and care 24/7. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly, well-trained and caring staff.
I would be happy to go there if the need ever occurred. The captain of the ship heads a first crew making what could be a traumatic time into an easy move.

Upon my visit to Orchard Manor View, to visit my long-time neighbour, I was warmly greeted by the lovely staff that look after her. I haven't visited many care homes, but I have to say that Orchard Manor View is exceptional in every way, more like a luxury hotel than a care home. My neighbour informed
me that she is very well looked after and has made some lovely friends, who, all together, enjoy the wonderful activities. I left just before lunchtime, the delicious smells coming from the kitchen and dining room had my mouth watering on my way out.

Mum and Dad have been residents of Orchard Manor View Care Home since March 2021 and are extremely happy there. The care they receive is excellent, the staff pride themselves in making sure their personal care is constantly of a high standard. All their ongoing and increasing needs are attended to promptly
and efficiently.
After two and a half years, I continue to be impressed with Orchard Manor View and have a good relationship with the longstanding staff who are all very experienced and so caring.

Orchard Manor View and all the staff are absolutely amazing, compassionate, caring and professional at all times. This home is without question the best in Leicestershire. It's spotlessly clean and has everything you could ask for. The private rooms are exceptional and have the feel and look of a five-star
facility whilst still feeling like your home. I cannot recommend Orchard Manor View highly enough. My mother has never looked as well or been as happy as she is here. Thank you.

I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone at Orchard Manor View for looking after my late father-in-law. While visiting him at the care home, he was always looking very dignified and well-dressed. They seem to have very well-trained staff who take care of looking after every resident's individual

I would like to say this care home is amazing. The staff are very well trained, helpful, knowledgeable, and above all caring. My late father was treated with utmost dignity. It was nice to see him treated as a human. Every aspect of his needs were catered for by the care home. The home is very clean

My dad went to Orchard Manor View and spent his final days there. The home is beautiful, staff are amazing, made my dad feel like he was one of their own. He was treated with the most dignity and care that was very important to me and the staff welcomed me into the home and supported me with Dad's illness
until he passed away. This home is immaculate. Clean, tidy and welcoming.

Amazing home! Staff are so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The home is so clean and homely. Staff made my father-in-law feel comfortable and safe. In his final days, he was treated with dignity and respect and supported my wife throughout.

My mother has been at Orchard Manor View since September 21, and I can honestly say that it is the best place she could have moved to. The 24/7 care is impeccable, with such kindness and compassion from all staff. We could immediately see the improvements, not only in my mother’s care but her well-being
and everything associated. Her fabulous meals are all cooked in house - nutritious and fresh – and the staff ensure that lovely snacks are offered in between meals. Nothing at all is too much for the staff – their first thought is always for the residents, ensuring they all feel like one of the family and that is what they strive to do – to ensure it is a home from home with a true family atmosphere! We know that my mum is safe, happy, and very well cared for. All her needs are met by the amazing staff who continually go that extra mile. We as a family, can’t thank them enough for what they do for my mother and the other residents – not all heroes wear capes!

My mother moved into Orchard Manor View last year and it was one of the best things that has ever happened for her. From the offset of making an enquiry as to their facilities and availability, they were professional and yet so caring. They asked many questions about Mum, including what she liked, her
interests and what she struggles with. It is as if Mum is in a five-star hotel as nothing is ever too much trouble. Many of their staff have been with them for years, which means their staff and guests get to know each other well. I worried when Covid hit but they ensured all residents and staff were kept safe. They rightly ensure we have negative LFTs before we go anywhere near the visiting area so you know when you go in, you know that you are not taking Covid in with you. The team (more like a family) are so openly caring and it is a credit to them that the residents, including my mum, think so highly of them all, as does our family.
