Lovely home, I have visited a few homes before, but this one really stands out. I have visited Orchard Manor a few times now and I always look forward to coming back each time. It doesn’t feel like a care home, more like a 5-star hotel.

I came up from London a few weeks ago to visit my great aunt, with my mum. What a lovely home Orchard Manor View is, it's so clean and very well presented.
My great aunt seems so very happy here and all the staff are very kind and caring towards her and the other residents, which was very reassuring
for us to see. I especially loved the hand-painted murals on the walls.
Cannot say enough about how lovely the staff were to us and how very welcome they made us feel. I will definitely be visiting again the next time I'm back in Leicester. Five stars!

The home is like staying in a large guest house. It has a very friendly atmosphere and I get all the help I need with getting up in the morning and getting to bed. We have someone who does activities with us most days and we can sit out in the garden when the weather is nice. They are also organising
a summer outing for us. It is lovely having quiet sitting rooms you can go to if you have a visitor. I don't think you would find a better place.

My dad had a stroke earlier this year and his memory had been affected as a result of this. He had lost a lot of weight and become weaker and found it difficult to move around. It had a tremendous effect on his confidence. I, as a daughter, was very afraid and nervous about placing him in a care home.
Orchard Manor View has put my mind at rest and I feel reassured that my dad is looked after well. Every time I visit him, he is treated with respect and I love that. Orchard Manor is a pleasant care home, very spacious, and clean. All the staff are friendly, always smiling and are approachable. The care home has a warm and welcoming feel to it. It also has four big family lounges to sit and spend quality time with my dad. The management have catered for my dad's dietary requirements (Halal food). My dad is encouraged to be involved in the daily activities that they have. Every day I have visited my dad and I've seen a difference in him. He is so happy, and seeing him happy - makes me happy.

So very impressed with Orchard Manor View. As soon as we entered we were greeted with smiles and friendly staff. The home is very clean and has a very calming feel about it. I regularly visit the home and the standard is very good, the staff are all very caring and show respect and dignity towards the residents. There is a wide range of activities taking place and the facilities are very good. Along with a wide choice of food and drink always offered. The rooms and general

My mother moved into Orchard Manor View in June 2018 following a stroke and the sudden onset of vascular dementia. I spent some time researching a care Home and chose this one as it is modern, light, and clean with a lovely feeling to it. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable and have big well-equipped
en suite shower rooms. There are several very nice lounge areas to sit in when visiting and a well-equipped kitchen to make drinks and have snacks which all help to make visiting a pleasant experience.
But the main reason my Mum moved in is that the staff are all very warm, kind caring people who treat my mum with respect, kindness and patience. The food served to the residents appears to be of a good standard and there are always options. All of the staff are approachable and welcoming. It is a good and well-run care Home.

I have been greatly impressed with Orchard Manor View and the care provided to my grandma since she moved in over a year ago. The staff are friendly and seem to really care for the residents who they take the time to get to know. The home is clean, light and does not smell. The bedrooms are spacious
and the residents are able to bring in pictures etc to make it theirs. There are several lounges you can use when visiting and daily activities for the residents.


My grandma is happy there and considers Orchard Manor View 'her' home rather than 'a' home which I think is the most important thing we could want from a care home.

I came from Lancashire to Leicester to visit my aunt. This was my first visit and I was told by my sister how wonderful the home was and how they cared for the residents. The standards were excellent and I totally agree with her choice of the home. I was extremely impressed I could not fault it. The
staff are amazing and the residents seem happy and relaxed. My aunt loves the home and has settled very well. It is like a home from home, extremely clean and tastefully furnished. Residents are encouraged to take part in daily living activities which is so important for dementia residents. I'm so happy my sister found this lovely home.

Orchard Manor View is a fantastic care home. My mum became a resident there last September and the care she receives is exemplary. Everyone is so friendly and caring and always smiling. My mum is 96 and always said that she never wanted to go into a care home but she is really happy there. She went
into Orchard Manor View as she became too frail to be by herself and she says she likes it there because she feels safe. There are various activities each day and the hairdresser visits twice a week. Any worries about her health and they are straight on the 'phone to the GP. A big thank you to all the staff there for all that they do to make my mum happy and safe.

I visit my Mother on a regular basis - 3+ times per week. Every visit you are greeted as a friend. Always helpful, answer any questions I have. Always clean - never ever seen it dirty. Food is excellent, mum always talks about the food being good.


All staff look smart, neat and are always friendly.

The kitchen always open for guests to make drinks for themselves and residents - even snacks and cakes available - all in all a brilliant care home.

Mum moved into Orchard Manor View in September 2016.
Since she has been there her heath has improved along with her confidence and mental state. She is cared for in a loving and compassionate way.
The staff have done everything they can to make mum feel at home and she is now very settled and happy.
She's thriving in a loving and inclusive environment. This is entirely down to the professionalism of all the staff.

Our parents were in need of respite care which has now become permanent and we are so happy they have been able to stay at Orchard Manor View. The environment is lovely and very welcoming, and the staff are superb - they have a very good understanding of Mum & Dad's condition and treat them appropriately,
but with the utmost respect.
The home has a lovely atmosphere at all times. The food looks delicious and the idea of the residents' kitchen to make drinks and have snacks in is brilliant.
The transfer of our parents into full-time care has not been an easy choice, but we are very happy with how it has been handled by the home.
