Staff are pleasant and friendly. My uncle seems to be happy there.
Thank you for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands, your comments are greatly appreciated.
Very pleasant atmosphere. Lovely staff, always making us welcome with a cup of tea, coffee and biscuits. Although our uncle is virtually blind, he is very mentally alert and a kind member of staff spends time with him, doing crossword puzzles with him, that's brilliant keeping his mind active. Unable to comment on the value for money option as we are not financially involved.

The care Mum receives at Glenfield Woodhouse is first class, she recently needed to have a spell in hospital, where the care was far from being what you would expect and disturbing for the family to experience. On returning to Glenfield Woodhouse, her care improved 100% and her recovery was down to the amazing staff who nursed her back to good health for a 97 year old. I cannot praise and thank them enough. Thank you all for what you do for Mum, we are so pleased she's back in your wonderful care.
Thank you for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands. Your wonderful comments are greatly appreciated and will be passed on to all staff.
Glenfield Woodlands is an excellent care home for my mum. It's a home that has a friendly atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble for them when we visit. They are always trying to entertain the residents in lots of different ways and the residents always appear to be happy. All the staff are hard working and look after my mum very well, treating her with care and dignity. There always seems to be a variety of different meals and special requests are no trouble to the kitchen staff. So all in all an excellent home with a family feel. Thank you to all staff for looking after Mum.

My aunt is currently living here, she seems very happy here. It’s very home from home. The carers make her feel part of their family. There’s also been a newly appointed manager who comes across as a wonderful lady and really cares. I know that I’d recommend the home to my friends and other family.
Thank you for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands. Your comments are really appreciated and will pass them on to our staff.
My mum has been a resident in Glenfield Woodlands since April 2023. I cannot thank the staff enough for the care they give her. Nothing is too much trouble for them all. They are really kind and caring, always with a smile on their faces.
Thank you for your kind and wonderful review, your comments are appreciated and these will be passed on to the staff.
The staff are very caring and professional. It is a small care home with a family feel. My brother has settled in to the routines very well and his health has improved greatly. Each resident is treated as an individual with their preferences noted and respected. The meals are plentiful and look delicious. I believe that the staff are Glenfield Woodlands' greatest asset.
Thank you for your kind and wonderful review, your comments are appreciated and these will be passed on to the staff.
The staff are amazing and look after my nan as if she is their own, can't thank them enough for the love and care they show her. She is always clean, freshly shaven, her hair combed and her fresh nightie and bed sheets on every time I visit, no matter what time of the day or night I visit. The food and cleanliness of the home are both outstanding.
Thank you, Becky, for your kind and wonderful review, your comments are appreciated and these will be passed on to the staff.
The home is in a great position for our family. After looking at other homes we found Woodlands was the best for my dad's needs. The place is home from home and the staff are excellent, always there with a smile and a cup of tea.
Thank you for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands. Your comments are very much appreciated.
Staff are friendly and caring. There are regular activities that my mum takes part in. These are stimulating and fun. It's nice to be able to see what my mum has been doing via phone video and social media as often she can't remember.
Thank you for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands; your comments are very much appreciated. A smile from your mum brightens our day. I will pass your comments on to the staff.
At Glenfield, however, Mum is happy, relaxed, warm, well cared for with hygiene, content and well fed (compliments to the chef!).
Over and above, the home provides stimulating entertainment, and Mum has sparked back into life on many occasions - dancing, singing, cooking, arts and crafts and miscellaneous other activities, one of which the care home brought in a tiny Shetland pony and Mum was grooming it with a hairbrush whilst stroking and loving the experience.
I visit Mum twice a week, and on every visit, the management team are hands-on and leads the staff in a very professional way. The lovely personalities of all the staff bring out the best in care for the residents.
A big thank you to all concerned with the running of this home.
Thank you, Christina, for your wonderful review. Your mum's smile brightens our day; she is a delight. I will pass on your wonderful comments to all the staff.
At Woodlands, the staff are very warm and welcoming.
The home is warm, clean and tidy, and the food, according to Mum, is lovely.
It's a brilliant home and has smashing staff.
The staff are all delightful and welcoming. Dad is relaxed and enjoying his time at the home. Keep the up splendid work, we all appreciate the efforts you all put in.

I feel my mother's care is excellent. She is made to feel as comfortable as possible. During Covid, safety procedures were in place and adhered to. She has been a resident for over five years. I would thoroughly recommend this care home.
Thank you for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands; your comments are wonderful and very much appreciated. Your mum is a very special lady to us all. I will pass your comments on to the staff.
Mum has been at Glenfield Woodlands now for over a year; she has vascular dementia, so her condition both mentally and physically can change often. As a family, we could not be more at ease knowing Mum firstly is at the right place of residence but has the right professional care in place. The staff we deal with have become good personal friends to us, I even have my own 'hippo' mug for the cuppa I get on my visits, but I always refuse the cakes though. Joking apart, 100% happy with Glenfield Woodlands, thank you for all that you do for Mum/me.
Thank you, Gary, for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands. Your comments are very much appreciated, and I will pass these on to the staff. It is always a pleasure when you and your family visit; the hippo mug is always on standby.
Whenever I visit the home, it is always clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and welcoming which makes it a pleasure to visit, the activities that mum is encouraged to take part in along with the relationship she has with the staff and the excellent care they provide seem to create an environment in which she seems to thrive, which makes me think we made the right decision choosing Glenfield Woodlands.
Thank you for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands, your comments are wonderful and very much appreciated. I will pass these on to the staff.
Staff are accommodating and caring, which is most important!
The home needs a little refurbishing and decorating but it sits in lovely grounds and Father loves the garden.
Thank you for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands, your comments are wonderful and very much appreciated. I will pass these on to the staff.
The staff are very good, they clearly care for all the residents and are always very professional. They have many entertainments organised for them and a lot of thought goes into the activities they do, always a pleasure to see the updates on Facebook.
Thank you Lynsey for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands, your comments are wonderful and very much appreciated. I will pass these on to the staff.
The care home was very warm and welcoming. Staff were very comforting and kind. I feel that I have been extremely well cared for during my time at the care home. Plenty to do activity-wise. Food is well prepared and tastes nice. I would highly recommend Glenfield Woodlands care home. Big thanks to the manager and the team, you have been wonderful.
Thank you for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands, your comments are wonderful and very much appreciated. I will pass these on to the staff.
My mum has been a resident in Glenfield Woodland for almost a year. She is very happy and settled in the home and now considers it her home. She has made many friends and the company of the residents and staff help to reduce my mum's anxiety... the staff are very helpful and obliging to all the residents and are treated with such kindness and respect. The home only has 16 residents so, the staff know and understand the residents really well and attend to their individual needs. Most days activities are organised for the residents and my mum thoroughly enjoys taking part. I would definitely recommend Glenfield Woodlands.
Thank you Yvonne, for taking the time to review Glenfield Woodlands, your comments are wonderful and very much appreciated. I will pass these on to the staff.
