These services are: Personal care, accommodation,
utilities, use of communal areas, meals, drinks and

Services NOT included in price are: dentistry, chiropody,
physiotherapy, occupational therapy, opticians, hairdressing,
medications, toiletries, clothing, newspapers/magazines.
During your stay, you may need to purchase additional goods
and services. If they are able to provide such goods and
services, they will tell you how much these goods and services
will cost and they expect that you will pay for these goods and
services at the time you request them.
They can accompany loved ones to private appointments,
however the fee attached to this is £21 per hour. Where private taxi
services are used for transportation to appointments the cost should
be paid for by yourself.

My mother in law has now been in Foxby Court for seven months. The care and compassion is second to none. The food is obviously enjoyable as she has put weight on.
All the staff are welcoming and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. I think this care home is exactly the right place for her,
and she has settled in wonderfully.

My father was placed at Foxby Court as an emergency placement. He has always been reluctant to entertain the idea of entering a care home. He has Parkinsons disease and is a proud gentleman. After two weeks here he was asked about his future. He asked to stay. His words were 'the treat me well here'.
I agree, the staff are wonderful, engaging and caring. The food served looks delicious and the environment is clean and fresh with activities ongoing.

Clean, friendly, approachable staff. Residents always look happy, always look clean and well looked after and supported. Rooms are always clean and tidy. Main areas of the building also well maintained. Lots of decorating happening and new flooring which is nice to see. I feel very happy and confident
in leaving my parent in the care of Foxby Court.

I have found the carers try to make the resident feel safe. I can see how difficult it is for the cares and Foxby have some special people working there. I have had good support from the home wherever mum has been unwell. Only this month I mentioned mum was not herself and didn't want to drink. I had
tried to coax her for an hour with her afternoon cup of tea. The carer said she would sit with her at teatime and encourage her. The management staff are always approachable and the phone is always picked up when I have needed to ring.

I find the care home to be clean and tidy. The residents always look very clean, and the food is very good. My only criticism is that when a resident needs the toilet, sometimes they can be waiting a while for someone to come and assist them.

I was a regular visitor to Foxby Court and was always made extremely welcome by all members of staff. My friend was well looked after, her nails neatly trimmed and her hair clean and styled nicely. Although my friend suffered from dementia and her mood was variable, the staff always treated her with
kindness and respect. My friend's room was very pleasant, with ensuite toilet facilities, always cleaned to a good standard. During my visits, I also used to chat with many of the other residents, all who seemed settled and happy. Although I didn't see any of the meals, as I would settle my friend in the dining room ready and then leave, the menus always sounded appetising, with a choice of main and dessert. On a couple of occasions, I coincided with a lady doing a music session, which the residents seemed to particularly enjoy and on another, they were just finishing a quiz. I would certainly not hesitate to recommend Foxby Court and thank the staff for their hard work and kindness.

Since my mother has been admitted to Foxby Court the pressure on the family has been eased considerably and we are satisfied her needs have been met. We are grateful as a family that the care she has received has been outstanding and this has been a weight lifted off our shoulders. Her medication needs
have been met which has been a great concern and we feel she is treated with dignity and respect. We cannot expect anymore from Foxby Court.

My mum is well looked after. She is happy and she joins in with the entertainment. I am kept informed about her needs and if she has a fall or anything. The carers all seem to get on well with my mum.

Foxby Court is lovely, the staff are great and very friendly. The care given is great and they have been looking after my friend very well.
The food must be good because he tells me how he has seconds and is eating much better. The cleanliness is superb, and everywhere is spotless.

I cannot thank the staff at Foxby Court Care Home enough. The care they have shown my father is exemplary. His final years have been a joy because of them. He became a different person after a difficult few years after my mother died.
All of the staff are excellent. They knew him and treated him with
respect even when it was difficult.

I was very satisfied with the standard of care and the treatment the staff and management gave to my mother but more important was the staff from kitchen and washing with dignity.

When we, unfortunately, realised Mum needed more care than we could give we looked at homes. The very first time we stepped foot in Foxby Court we knew we'd found Mum's home from home. The staff are exceptional and became Mum's extended family very quickly. During covid when we could not visit we were
grateful she had all her 2nd family around her, it gave us great comfort. We recently lost Mum and the staff immediately opened their arms and heart to us. We laughed and cried together and I will forever hold them dear. Look no further, this home and staff are awesome.

During the time my mum was at the care home, all of the staff showed kindness and compassion and were all very friendly and approachable which was very comforting as a family member to know.

I wish to say how extremely happy I am with the excellent care my mum receives from Foxby Court. The staff are very kind, thoughtful and caring, they treat Mum with dignity and look after her very well indeed! Her room is always clean and tidy and she loves the menu and whenever she needs anything,
they're always there for her! Have great peace of mind knowing all this - Mum is very happy in her new surroundings! Well done to all staff and management have been great, sorting visiting through tough times!

Sara, the Home Manager at Foxby Court, has been in the role since August 2023 but has been with the Trust for just under 5 years.


“I worked in other care homes for over 11 years as a Carer, then onto a Senior Carer. I worked 4 years on nights before I came back on days as a Care Supervisor. I then worked for 2 years as Deputy Manager. I had some time out before I became the Night Deputy in other care homes for 4 months, and 1 year as a Senior before I took the post at Foxby Court as a Senior Carer. After 4 months with OSJCT, I took the Head of Care role, which I have done for over 4 years before becoming the Home Manager.”


“I enjoy working in the care sector and enjoy helping people in the best way possible. Delivery of care is paramount, and I enjoy helping with the different care needs through the different stages of life. Being the Home Manager at Foxby Court, I am now on a new journey within my career.”


“Outside of work, I am married, and I have a son who still lives at home. My husband and I enjoy walking and seeing friends and going to new places. We are keen National Trust members.”
