My mother was in St John's for 14 weeks, initially in an IL basis. She was in a leg brace and could not have managed at home. The care she received from both the home and the Independent Living Team was excellent. My only suggestion would be, it would be beneficial to those in her position to have a small lounge/sitting room where tea/coffee could be made and be able to socialise for those without dementia. If all care homes were run like St John's there would be no need to worry about the care of our elderly population. Well done to all the staff, keep up the good work.

A very friendly, caring and professional residential home. From what I have seen nothing is too much trouble for the staff who always make time for residents and relatives alike. The accommodation is immaculate and I have no concerns about my mother being kept clean and tidy too. Activities are good and the food is also. I like the addition of a set weekly menu. Keep up the good work and standards St Johns.

I had a lovely room and was made welcome on arrival. All the staff and manager were helpful. I was treated with dignity and my wishes were respected. There was a good choice of food at mealtimes and the activities were interesting and enjoyable.

My mother has spent just under eight weeks in hospital and went to St John's Care Home to get ready to go home. The room was very clean and tidy and the staff were all very good. Overall the level of care was excellent, she is now at home and doing well.

I am only in Spalding to visit once or twice a year for a few days, however I have the impression my mother is well cared for. The activity programme I find good and the rooms clean and comfortable. The staff are always friendly.
