Situated on the northern edge of Northampton, Brampton View offers outstanding residential and dementia care with rural views of Chapel Brampton.

The care home is warm and inviting as well as close to local attractions and amenities.

The bedrooms are set across two floors, with each floor having two lounges for socialising and activities, as well as two dining rooms for a premium dining experience. Brampton View also benefits from a library, so that residents can find peace and quiet any time. Furnishings and décor throughout the home are of a high standard with classical styling and modern conveniences.

Landscaped gardens wrap around the building, providing numerous areas for relaxing and socialising outdoors. There is also a secure garden for residents of the dementia community to enjoy safely.

My mother suffered a heart attack in October 2017. We needed a suitable respite home for her recovery. We chose Brampton View Care Home. Since she was admitted there, I cannot thank the staff enough for their care. From cleaners to management - the service has been excellent. The facilities and nursing
care have helped her through this difficult period.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. My Mothers bedroom was clean and well lit, and the food she said was tasty and filling. Unfortunately, her toilet seat broke on the third day and was replaced on the second time of asking, with a framed toilet seat which was better as it enabled her more stability
when sitting down. I was very unhappy with the wasp issue that was reported on the Sunday 15th October. The maintenance man treated it with a wasp/fly killer spray I think but it did not work. This issue continued over the next week or so till on the Wednesday 25th October, the day before my Mother was leaving her respite stay it was decided to get a pest control company in to get rid of the wasp nest outside of my Mothers bedroom window. On a few of my visits, I made my Mother and myself a tea from the kitchen and I was very disappointed/disgusted with the cleanliness of the kitchen. I also noted when I left later in the evenings, there was no one manning reception, any one could have walked in or out.

My father is in the dementia unit he has a lot of problems which have been handled with care. I am kept fully informed by phone regarding father and his needs. They have supported and reassured me as well through the difficulties.
My mother is in the residential area and again good support is given
to her. She is allowed as much independence as she wants only stepping in when more help is required.

To see human kindness in full force, Brampton View is the place.
Residents are treated as human beings, spoken to with respect and cared for as if one of the family, smiles and warmth are in abundance and nothing is too much trouble.
All the staff, from maintenance through to management and nursing
were extremely pleasant and welcoming, they knew my mother by name and showed dedication to their work that left me in total awe and admiration for them.
Thank you, doesn't cover the gratitude I have for the existence of the home and its people.

Following a difficult year with close bereavement, failing health and appalling neglect in a care home in another part of the country, we moved my mother to be closer to us. The administrative team, carers and nurses are enabling my mother to be more fully herself. She has settled extremely well; as
a family, we are delighted and relieved by the compassion, respect, good humour, practical support and kindness she receives and we experience when we visit. The atmosphere is "home from home". We unreservedly recommend this care home to everyone we speak to.

Excellent care home. Happy environment, peaceful ambience, organised activities with real enthusiasm to encourage participation.
This home allowed my 91 year old mother to 'find' herself again, it was a real tonic for her and she cannot wait to come again for another 'respite' holiday as a non nursing
resident.

A very pleasant care home in rural surroundings.
Both the manager and staff appear to really care about the residents and show extreme kindness and understanding at all times.
They have an extensive social programme which many residents enjoy.
The food is very good with ample choice.
Visitors are
made welcome and all areas of the building are clean, tidy and free from unpleasant odour.

Having visited my mother each day for the past week, I find her well looked after. She is always dressed well and always very clean. She is sometimes slow in finishing her meals but she always is allowed the necessary time she needs.
The activities at this home are designed to interest and challenge
the residents. Time is always taken to respect the special needs of each resident.

This is a first class but pricey home. All the staff are marvellous and there is very little turnover of staff.
This means residents get used to their carers and respond accordingly.
Activities are numerous and various and never dull.
Everyone from housekeeping up to the manager is friendly and
always greet you with a cheery smile.

My father recently had a "grant a wish" fulfilled which turned out to be a fantastic experience for him. His last job was at Churches shoe factory where he went to train new staff to do welt sewing. He retired at the age of 70 and missed his shoe making days. Brampton View arranged for a visit from
Churches and they duly did a wonderful presentation to my Dad and other residents. They explained the history of how Northampton became the shoe making capital.


There was a range of shoes currently being manufactured, together with examples of all the different skins used. This included a pair of crocodile shoes which retail at £3000, which had been made by a man whom my Dad had trained, what a proud moment. After the presentation, everyone enjoyed tea and cakes, each individual cake had a Churches shoe on top made from rice paper, all organised by the wonderful activities team at Brampton View. It was a truly splendid afternoon for my Dad, as well as the other residents.

Brampton View have always shown care and consideration to my dad. The nursing staff have always treated him with great care and the care staff treat him like family, which is great to know that he is in safe hands.
Everyone in the home is lovely and I recommend Brampton View Care Home.

My mother passed away at Brampton View Care Home on 2nd January the love and care she received in the 16 months she was there was amazing. All the staff were so lovely to me and my family. My Dad was only with you for three months, but during that time he felt very much at home. It could have been a difficult transition for a 90-year-old, but everyone, carers and admin were superb in helping him settle in. He was very fond of the carers who were always kind and generous with their time.
We were kept informed regularly and always consulted about anything of importance. It was reassuring for us to know we had made the right decision for him in this critically important last chapter of his life.

On arrival for the stay, Dad was well received and catered for from day one. All of the stay was made easy by the neverending excellence of the dedicated staff (nursing, carers, cleaner, maintenance and management). I was initially impressed by the attitude and patience of the manager, who listened to my reasons why I wanted my wife to become a resident at Brampton View, and who arranged admittance very quickly. Her calm, pleasant efficient manner is reflected to a great degree by the staff who care for the residents,
who are treated like an extended family. They also make time to listen to visitors comments and act upon them, where appropriate. Brampton View is an impressive, modern purpose built building, but I find the management and staff impressive.

Brampton View Northampton provided a compassionate and caring environment for my mum at a very sad time within her life. They gave me the peace of mind that my mum was being cared for and was safe. The staff all worked to make mums stay happy. Staff would make mum a cup of coffee which she really loved.
Happily mum is well enough to move to be closer to myself but I would certainly consider this home if needed in the future. The grounds are also peaceful and calming and mum loved walking in them.

Cristina Sandu

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2023

Hello. I am Cristina. I joined Brampton View in 2023 as Head of the Memory Lane Unit and have just taken the role of Deputy Manager.


I bring a vast amount of knowledge and experience. I am passionate about the care I provide for our residents and proud that I am part of a team that is dedicated to the same goals and values to continually improve the quality, health and wellbeing of all our residents in the home.


I work closely with the general practitioners, district nurses, occupational therapists, dieticians and other external agencies that support the residents.
It is my goal to ensure that the home is a safe and secure environment for the residents and their families and that they feel confident in the work we are doing, the communication we provide, and the inclusive strategy we hold from the welcome received to the journey they have living in their home here at Brampton View.


Therapeutic benefits through activities are important to the residents, and we have a lovely garden in which we grow flowers and vegetables. I have a passion for gardening and enjoy the time spent with residents doing this or in my own garden. I am also an avid reader and find that this is a way for me to relax and improve my well-being.

Glenn

Glenn Coombs

Job Title: Head Chef Joined: 2020

Hello. I am Glenn. I joined the team at Brampton View in 2021 as Head Chef. I have 35 years of culinary experience, and I have had the privilege of working in many locations, including the island of Bermuda for 10 years and Scotland for 8 years, where I ran my own restaurants. I have also had the pleasure of putting my culinary talents to the test for royalty and other famous people.


Since working in healthcare, I have found such fulfilment in being able to provide enjoyment for the residents in their mealtime experience. It feels like cooking for my extended family. I enjoy taking time out of my day to visit the residents to ask for feedback on the meals and tailor the menu for their preferences, as it is their menu! At Brampton view we run our Pudding Club, where each month we recreate a resident’s recipe from their lives and I have provided a cooking demonstration of this. As well as being the nutrition champion for the home I like to take part in the Barchester competitions I involve the residents and my wider team in these, I was also nominated for Chef of the year! Christmas 2023 I produced a gingerbread house advert calendar where each day a different resident could open a house for a treat in the countdown to Christmas. Easter 2024 I won the Easter cake competition with my Easter story cake showing the crucifixion of Jesus and the tradition seminal cake. We also won the best Ice Cream Sundae!


I am an avid supporter of American Football League and enjoy getting dressed up to attend the games is a must for me. I enjoy keeping myself in good health and attend the gym as and when I can.

Kimberley Chapman

Job Title: Head Housekeeper

Hello, I'm Kim, and I've had the pleasure of being a part of the wonderful Brampton View team since 2015. Starting off as the Activities Lead, I quickly moved into the role of Activity Coordinator, where I found a deep passion for creating a fantastic environment within our home. I also supported the housekeeping team to ensure everything was spick and span. In 2018, I was thrilled to step into the position of Head Housekeeper and lead my own amazing team.


Over the past 4 and a half years, we've built a diverse housekeeping team that is dedicated to providing our residents with a clean, organised, and personalised living space. I take immense pride in maintaining the highest cleanliness standards and ensuring that our environment is always impeccable.


Aside from keeping our living space pristine, I love spending time with the residents, often offering them a comforting hot drink or a freshly baked cake. I aim to support both residents and staff in the day-to-day operations of our beautiful home.


Outside of work, I have a deep passion for the environment and find peace in the therapeutic benefits of freshwater swimming, and I am an avid runner, which I've enjoyed for many years, and have taken part in many marathons. Family is incredibly important to me, and I cherish every moment spent with them, and that includes our wonderful dog, Bella, who keeps us on our toes!

Amanda Walden

Job Title: Team Leader Joined: 2022

Hello. I am Amanda. I joined the team at Brampton View in 2022 as a Team Leader. I have achieved my diploma in Level 3 in Health and Social Care and bring more than 30 years of care experience to Brampton View. I have worked in many different care services, including learning disabilities. I was also privileged to manage 2 care home settings through the pandemic.


Care started within my family setting when I was younger, and I worked with St John Ambulance for 14 years, also as a volunteer with them as a First Aid trainer. I then joined the care sector in 2012 with palliative care. I was able to provide support to patients and families, building rapport and empathy.


It is very important to me that the residents, families and external visitors are all provided with the best support, communication, and understanding, and I will give the best of myself to ensure their well-being is paramount. As a team leader, I feel that my role goes above and beyond for our residents, as the home is a community, and we all become attached to each other through building what feels like an external family unit. Within the home, I am passionate about the staff team we have here at Brampton View and how well we work together to provide passionate care and support to all our residents.


In my spare time, I am passionate about my walks that I take with my 2 dogs, Mitzee & Polly. Walking is very therapeutic to me and so good for mental health. I am at my happiest when walking the dogs for hours.

Hello. I am Anna. I have been a team member at Brampton View since 2021, when I joined as a Registered Nurse. I have over 36 years of nursing experience and have achieved a Master’s degree in Special Pedagogy and a Bachelor’s degree in Resocialisation. I have also spent time volunteering for prisons and was president of a young people’s organisation. When living in Poland, I was the senior nurse for the Neurosurgery and Oncology-Surgery unit. I also had the pleasure of writing articles for the local hospital newspaper.


It was a childhood dream to be a nurse and always my first-choice career. I love everything about nursing and am passionate about the residents I care for. If the residents are in good health, happy, and well, this makes me feel good. I love to see a resident improving in health and feel that connection with each individual that I care for. Having my residents feel safe, secure and happy is the most important aspect of my role. I have a well-accomplished team and we work in unity as one, which ensures the care, compassion and well-being we deliver to our residents. I have an excellent relationship with the residents' families, and they enjoy speaking with me about their loved ones.


I enjoy spending quality time reading a good psychological book and even more so with my family, especially my son, who is diagnosed with autism. We enjoy family holidays exploring natural wonders and astrology. In days gone by, I was also an avid basketball and tennis player.

Hari Yogananthan

Hello, my name is Hari. I joined Brampton View as the Administrator in 2025. With over 15 years of experience in administration and finance, I have developed a strong foundation in these fields. My journey began when I relocated to the UK in 2009 to pursue a degree in finance management, which I successfully completed in 2013.


Throughout my career, I have worked in for a number years to the care sector, where I have had the privilege of providing invaluable support to residents, their families, and staff. My first role was in the finance department of a smaller care home, where I dedicated six years.


I am passionate about delivering the highest quality of work for our residents, their families, suppliers, and staff. After gaining experience in London, I relocated to my current hometown in Buckinghamshire, where I continued my work in administration and finance within the care sector.


I embraced an opportunity with Barchester Healthcare, which not only brought me closer to home but also allowed me to spend more precious time with my wife and two little girls. Additionally, I am actively involved in supporting my local Hindu temple, where I dedicate my time to teaching and helping others on their faith journey.


I look forward to continuing my work at Brampton View and contributing positively to the lives of those we care for.

Hello, I am Sarah, I am the Activity Coordinator and Lead at Brampton View. I truly believe in enriching the lives of others and ensuring the care we provide helps everyone live to their fullest.


What makes us all so special is that every single one of us is different, with our own unique needs – that's what makes us beautifully unique! My passion is to give people the chance to feel connected, empowered, and to have a real sense of purpose. This is especially important for those who might be less able, as fostering those connections and feelings of belonging can make a world of difference. Ultimately, my goal is to create activities that are all about you, bringing happiness and joy right into our home.


When I'm not at Brampton View, my home is a lively hub! I live with my partner, our three wonderful children, three dogs, a cat, a rabbit, and a snake! I adore being out in nature and soaking up family time when I can!


My background has given me valuable experience in supporting people through challenging times. I've worked in rehabilitation, providing dedicated care to an individual with a brain injury in his own home, and also as a communication guide for an individual living with a brain tumour. In addition to my work here at Brampton View, I'm also a Reiki Practitioner, which help individuals move forward from past trauma, gain clarity, and build strong self-belief.

Hello, I'm Marta, Second Chef at Brampton View. With over 12 years of experience, I have worked my way up from a housekeeper to a carer, then a hospitality team member, and finally to my current role as Second Chef. My journey began when I discovered a passion for baking, which led me to become a kitchen assistant and eventually attain the position of Second Chef, a role that I have cherished for the past 6 years.


Originally from the Philippines, I started my career as a housekeeper for a private family before taking on similar roles in Singapore. When the family relocated to the UK, I continued to manage their household, taking care of everything from cooking and cleaning to childcare and even looking after their pets. These experiences have equipped me with valuable skills that I now bring to my role at Brampton View.


I am deeply dedicated to providing the residents with not only delectable baked goods but also a diverse selection of delicious menus. Collaborating with the Head Chef, I ensure that each resident's specific dietary and culinary preferences are met with care and attention.


Beyond my work, my family holds a special place in my heart, and I devote time and effort to ensure their well-being and happiness. With unwavering commitment, I strive to create a nurturing and fulfilling lifestyle for my loved ones.

Matter Chatikobo

Job Title: Senior Carer Joined: 2023

Hello, I'm Matter, a senior carer at Brampton View, and I've been working at the home since 2023. Originally from Zimbabwe, I have been a registered nurse there since 2006, and my qualifications are still recognised in my home country. When I moved to the UK, I started as an agency worker, but I longed for a more fulfilling role. My brother, also a nurse at Barchester in Somerset, encouraged me to apply for positions closer to home and started working as a care assistant. I was soon promoted to senior carer when the opportunity arose.


I am naturally caring and compassionate, and I strive to support our residents in living their best lives at the home. I have a keen instinct for providing the best care, and I actively engage with residents, their families, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for all involved.


Outside of work, my beautiful family - my husband and four children - are my passion, and I take great joy in caring for their needs. My Christian faith is a cornerstone of my life, and it complements my approach to care. In my leisure time, I enjoy socialising with friends and playing a competitive game of tennis.

Hello, I'm Scot, Head of Maintenance at Brampton View, and I've been dedicated to the home since 2025. With 18 years of experience in the care home sector, I bring a wealth of maintenance knowledge to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the residents, staff, and the home itself. My commitment is to deliver the highest quality workmanship, no matter the size of the task.


I find genuine joy in making a difference in the residents' lives, whether it's through small maintenance jobs like hanging a picture or tackling larger projects. It's incredibly rewarding to see how these efforts enhance their quality of life, and the overall reward is just seeing the joy it brings!


Beyond work, my partner and our two wonderful children are my top priority, and caring for their needs brings me great pride. I also enjoy following football as an avid Liverpool supporter.

Hello, I'm Louise, the Home Services Advisor at Brampton View. I'm here to support the home and improve the lives of our residents and their families, and to provide advice on how our home can support them with the next exciting chapter of their lives.


My goal is to create a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment for our residents and their families. I strive to ensure that everyone at Brampton View feels at home and well-cared for.


Before this role, I worked for a large organisation in Scotland, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and forensic histories. The experience and knowledge I gained in the role have allowed me to transferable skills to my new role and develop these to provide support and advise in the home.


At home, I find pleasure in cultivating vegetables in my garden and engaging in DIY projects. I have a deep appreciation for music, enjoying a diverse range of styles while trying to memorise the lyrics. Additionally, I am often found immersing myself in audiobooks or delving into a good read.

Hello, I'm Mary, one of the Senior Care Assistants here at Brampton View. I have been part of this wonderful team for nearly 3 years, starting as a care assistant and recently being promoted to a senior. I take great pride in the supportive and caring environment that we have here; it truly feels like a family, and this is reflected in the exceptional care and support we provide for our residents.


Before coming to the UK, I was living and working in Nigeria as a retailer. Now, I have settled into life here, made many friends, and enjoy a bit of window shopping in my free time. Despite the distance, I stay connected with my family back home through endless hours of FaceTime, making sure we catch up on everything that's happening in each of our lives.

Hello, I'm Comfort, a registered nurse at Brampton View. With over 35 years of nursing experience, I have been part of this home for the past 5 years as a bank nurse. Originally from Nigeria, I began my career in a large hospital before seizing the opportunity to work and study in the UK, which opened up new and exciting career prospects. Eventually, I settled in London with my beautiful family.


I find great fulfilment in the caring environment of the care home. The smaller size allows for long-term relationships to form between the residents and the staff, creating a sense of family. Our dedicated team works together to provide the best care through support and encouragement, ensuring the well-being of our residents.


In my free time, I enjoy leisurely window shopping and remain dedicated to my Christian faith. I also cherish spending time with my grandchildren whenever possible.
