Meet the Team (12)

My name is Elina House, and I am proud to serve as the General Manager here at Brampton View Care Home.
With a background as a fully qualified nurse and previous experience at other Barchester care homes, I am dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of care and comfort for our residents.
My passion for providing compassionate, person-centred support drives everything we do. At Brampton View, we are committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment where every individual feels valued and respected.
Our goal is to support our residents in leading fulfilling and meaningful lives, tailored to their unique needs and preferences. I look forward to welcoming you to our community and working together to make each day special.

Hello. I am Cristina. I joined Brampton View in 2023 as Head of the Memory Lane Unit and have just taken the role of Deputy Manager.
I bring a vast amount of knowledge and experience. I am passionate about the care I provide for our residents and proud that I am part of a team that is dedicated to the same goals and values to continually improve the quality, health and wellbeing of all our residents in the home.
I work closely with the general practitioners, district nurses, occupational therapists, dieticians and other external agencies that support the residents. It is my goal to ensure that the home is a safe and secure environment for the residents and their families and that they feel confident in the work we are doing, the communication we provide, and the inclusive strategy we hold from the welcome received to the journey they have living in their home here at Brampton View.
Therapeutic benefits through activities are important to the residents, and we have a lovely garden in which we grow flowers and vegetables. I have a passion for gardening and enjoy the time spent with residents doing this or in my own garden. I am also an avid reader and find that this is a way for me to relax and improve my well-being.

Hello. I am Glenn. I joined the team at Brampton View in 2021 as Head Chef. I have 35 years of culinary experience, and I have had the privilege of working in many locations, including the island of Bermuda for 10 years and Scotland for 8 years, where I ran my own restaurants. I have also had the pleasure of putting my culinary talents to the test for royalty and other famous people.
Since working in healthcare, I have found such fulfilment in being able to provide enjoyment for the residents in their mealtime experience. It feels like cooking for my extended family. I enjoy taking time out of my day to visit the residents to ask for feedback on the meals and tailor the menu for their preferences, as it is their menu! At Brampton view we run our Pudding Club, where each month we recreate a resident’s recipe from their lives and I have provided a cooking demonstration of this. As well as being the nutrition champion for the home I like to take part in the Barchester competitions I involve the residents and my wider team in these, I was also nominated for Chef of the year! Christmas 2023 I produced a gingerbread house advert calendar where each day a different resident could open a house for a treat in the countdown to Christmas. Easter 2024 I won the Easter cake competition with my Easter story cake showing the crucifixion of Jesus and the tradition seminal cake. We also won the best Ice Cream Sundae!
I am an avid supporter of American Football League and enjoy getting dressed up to attend the games is a must for me. I enjoy keeping myself in good health and attend the gym as and when I can.

Hello, I'm Kim, and I've had the pleasure of being a part of the wonderful Brampton View team since 2015. Starting off as the Activities Lead, I quickly moved into the role of Activity Coordinator, where I found a deep passion for creating a fantastic environment within our home. I also supported the housekeeping team to ensure everything was spick and span. In 2018, I was thrilled to step into the position of Head Housekeeper and lead my own amazing team.
Over the past 4 and a half years, we've built a diverse housekeeping team that is dedicated to providing our residents with a clean, organised, and personalised living space. I take immense pride in maintaining the highest cleanliness standards and ensuring that our environment is always impeccable.
Aside from keeping our living space pristine, I love spending time with the residents, often offering them a comforting hot drink or a freshly baked cake. I aim to support both residents and staff in the day-to-day operations of our beautiful home.
Outside of work, I have a deep passion for the environment and find peace in the therapeutic benefits of freshwater swimming, and I am an avid runner, which I've enjoyed for many years, and have taken part in many marathons. Family is incredibly important to me, and I cherish every moment spent with them, and that includes our wonderful dog, Bella, who keeps us on our toes!

Hello. I am Amanda. I joined the team at Brampton View in 2022 as a Team Leader. I have achieved my diploma in Level 3 in Health and Social Care and bring more than 30 years of care experience to Brampton View. I have worked in many different care services, including learning disabilities. I was also privileged to manage 2 care home settings through the pandemic.
Care started within my family setting when I was younger, and I worked with St John Ambulance for 14 years, also as a volunteer with them as a First Aid trainer. I then joined the care sector in 2012 with palliative care. I was able to provide support to patients and families, building rapport and empathy.
It is very important to me that the residents, families and external visitors are all provided with the best support, communication, and understanding, and I will give the best of myself to ensure their well-being is paramount. As a team leader, I feel that my role goes above and beyond for our residents, as the home is a community, and we all become attached to each other through building what feels like an external family unit. Within the home, I am passionate about the staff team we have here at Brampton View and how well we work together to provide passionate care and support to all our residents.
In my spare time, I am passionate about the walks that I take with my 2 dogs, Mitzee & Polly. Walking is very therapeutic to me and so good for mental health. I am at my happiest when walking the dogs for hours.

Hello. I am Anna. I have been a team member at Brampton View since 2021, when I joined as a Registered Nurse. I have over 36 years of nursing experience and have achieved a Master’s degree in Special Pedagogy and a Bachelor’s degree in Resocialisation. I have also spent time volunteering for prisons and was president of a young people’s organisation. When living in Poland, I was the senior nurse for the Neurosurgery and Oncology-Surgery unit. I also had the pleasure of writing articles for the local hospital newspaper.
It was a childhood dream to be a nurse and always my first-choice career. I love everything about nursing and am passionate about the residents I care for. If the residents are in good health, happy, and well, this makes me feel good. I love to see a resident improving in health and feel that connection with each individual that I care for. Having my residents feel safe, secure and happy is the most important aspect of my role. I have a well-accomplished team and we work in unity as one, which ensures the care, compassion and well-being we deliver to our residents. I have an excellent relationship with the residents' families, and they enjoy speaking with me about their loved ones.
I enjoy spending quality time reading a good psychological book and even more so with my family, especially my son, who is diagnosed with autism. We enjoy family holidays exploring natural wonders and astrology. In days gone by, I was also an avid basketball and tennis player.

Hello, my name is Hari. I joined Brampton View as the Administrator in 2025. With over 15 years of experience in administration and finance, I have developed a strong foundation in these fields. My journey began when I relocated to the UK in 2009 to pursue a degree in finance management, which I successfully completed in 2013.
Throughout my career, I have worked in for a number years to the care sector, where I have had the privilege of providing invaluable support to residents, their families, and staff. My first role was in the finance department of a smaller care home, where I dedicated six years.
I am passionate about delivering the highest quality of work for our residents, their families, suppliers, and staff. After gaining experience in London, I relocated to my current hometown in Buckinghamshire, where I continued my work in administration and finance within the care sector.
I embraced an opportunity with Barchester Healthcare, which not only brought me closer to home but also allowed me to spend more precious time with my wife and two little girls. Additionally, I am actively involved in supporting my local Hindu temple, where I dedicate my time to teaching and helping others on their faith journey.
I look forward to continuing my work at Brampton View and contributing positively to the lives of those we care for.

Hello, I'm Marta, Second Chef at Brampton View. With over 12 years of experience, I have worked my way up from a housekeeper to a carer, then a hospitality team member, and finally to my current role as Second Chef. My journey began when I discovered a passion for baking, which led me to become a kitchen assistant and eventually attain the position of Second Chef, a role that I have cherished for the past 6 years.
Originally from the Philippines, I started my career as a housekeeper for a private family before taking on similar roles in Singapore. When the family relocated to the UK, I continued to manage their household, taking care of everything from cooking and cleaning to childcare and even looking after their pets. These experiences have equipped me with valuable skills that I now bring to my role at Brampton View.
I am deeply dedicated to providing the residents with not only delectable baked goods but also a diverse selection of delicious menus. Collaborating with the Head Chef, I ensure that each resident's specific dietary and culinary preferences are met with care and attention.
Beyond my work, my family holds a special place in my heart, and I devote time and effort to ensure their well-being and happiness. With unwavering commitment, I strive to create a nurturing and fulfilling lifestyle for my loved ones.

Hello, I'm Matter, a senior carer at Brampton View, and I've been working at the home since 2023. Originally from Zimbabwe, I have been a registered nurse there since 2006, and my qualifications are still recognised in my home country. When I moved to the UK, I started as an agency worker, but I longed for a more fulfilling role. My brother, also a nurse at Barchester in Somerset, encouraged me to apply for positions closer to home and started working as a care assistant. I was soon promoted to senior carer when the opportunity arose.
I am naturally caring and compassionate, and I strive to support our residents in living their best lives at the home. I have a keen instinct for providing the best care, and I actively engage with residents, their families, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for all involved.
Outside of work, my beautiful family - my husband and four children - are my passion, and I take great joy in caring for their needs. My Christian faith is a cornerstone of my life, and it complements my approach to care. In my leisure time, I enjoy socialising with friends and playing a competitive game of tennis.

Hello, I'm Scot, Head of Maintenance at Brampton View, and I've been dedicated to the home since 2025. With 18 years of experience in the care home sector, I bring a wealth of maintenance knowledge to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the residents, staff, and the home itself. My commitment is to deliver the highest quality workmanship, no matter the size of the task.
I find genuine joy in making a difference in the residents' lives, whether it's through small maintenance jobs like hanging a picture or tackling larger projects. It's incredibly rewarding to see how these efforts enhance their quality of life, and the overall reward is just seeing the joy it brings!
Beyond work, my partner and our two wonderful children are my top priority, and caring for their needs brings me great pride. I also enjoy following football as an avid Liverpool supporter.
My goal is to ensure that everyone in our home feels safe, comfortable, and well-cared for, and I take great pride in contributing to that every day.

Hello, I'm Mary, one of the Senior Care Assistants here at Brampton View. I have been part of this wonderful team for nearly 3 years, starting as a care assistant and recently being promoted to a senior. I take great pride in the supportive and caring environment that we have here; it truly feels like a family, and this is reflected in the exceptional care and support we provide for our residents.
Before coming to the UK, I was living and working in Nigeria as a retailer. Now, I have settled into life here, made many friends, and enjoy a bit of window shopping in my free time. Despite the distance, I stay connected with my family back home through endless hours of FaceTime, making sure we catch up on everything that's happening in each of our lives.

Hello, I'm Comfort, a registered nurse at Brampton View. With over 35 years of nursing experience, I have been part of this home for the past 5 years as a bank nurse. Originally from Nigeria, I began my career in a large hospital before seizing the opportunity to work and study in the UK, which opened up new and exciting career prospects. Eventually, I settled in London with my beautiful family.
I find great fulfilment in the caring environment of the care home. The smaller size allows for long-term relationships to form between the residents and the staff, creating a sense of family. Our dedicated team works together to provide the best care through support and encouragement, ensuring the well-being of our residents.
In my free time, I enjoy leisurely window shopping and remain dedicated to my Christian faith. I also cherish spending time with my grandchildren whenever possible.
