Burlington Court Care Home

The experience I have had has been exceptional. All the staff are professional and show care and understanding to all residents and their families. The home is well managed and staff go above and beyond for residents and their families. My father has been in the home for two years and has been cared for in a professional, supportive and caring way.

He cannot do anything for himself now and is unable to communicate. He is unsteady on his feet. All of this makes him very vulnerable and therefore it is very important that he is in a kind and caring environment. Based on my visits and his well-being I have no doubt that he is in receipt of the best care he could possibly get. The care staff are pleasant polite and engaging with clients and visitors. The team keep families well informed as to loved ones' well-being and progress. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone.

They went out of their way to do their best for mum, which made her feel very safe and in a happy place. They would always encourage mum to join in the activities taking place each day to make her day as fulfilling as possible. The staff are a credit to the caring profession and l salute them all. I would highly recommend Burlington Court Care Home.

We are very happy with the care given to our mum. The staff are excellent and so caring. We feel that we can leave Mum, knowing that she is safe and well looked after. We love that they take her out on the day trips etc and she gets great pleasure in it.

My dad is now at Burlington Court Care Home after staying at a different care home. I think the care is second to none. The staff and management are really kind to dad and welcoming to us. They provide endless activities if the residents choose to join in. There is a lovely park very close by and a pub across the road if they fancy a change of scenery and a little tipple. All in all, I can’t think of a better place for dad to be in his final years.

This is a lovely care home. There are lots of activities and entertainment for the residents. It’s well maintained and the private rooms and communal areas are bright and cheerful. The staff are always welcoming when you visit and their interaction with the residents is brilliant. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

I can’t recommend this home enough. My aunt was a resident for nearly two years and it really did become her home. The staff are fantastic and would do anything for their residents. They really do care about each person and go above and beyond for them. My aunt was really happy here and I am so grateful for the love and kindness they gave her (and me) in her last years.

The staff team have provided an excellent experience for my father from the day he entered Burlington Court. All aspects of the home are excellent, especially the staff. Thank you for the care and support you give to my father and me.

There is always a warm welcome when you arrive and it is a happy, homely environment. Love all the staff who always have time and patience with Mum, she is very relaxed and happy there. We know that if there are any problems we will be notified.

I can not recommend Burlington enough - the staff and management are amazing, they are passionate about their resident's welfare and always keep the family updated - they have taken away the stress of us being carers and have allowed us to be a son and daughter-in-law again to our loved one by spending quality time with her.

From the welcome you receive on arrival to the care and attention Mum receives from all the staff. All the staff go the extra mile to make sure residents and vistors are well cared for and looked after. Mum always looks so lovely , clean and comfortable and I do feel reassured when I leave, she is in the right place. You will find it difficult to find a better managed care home than Burlington.

Everyone who looked after my husband from the management, reception and the wonderful carers on Tudor, I would like to express my gratitude for the caring and thoughtful way that was given to my husband and my family before his passing recently. Nothing was too much trouble and the kindness and patience were exceptional. Many thanks to everyone.

I am very pleased with the care and everything the home does for residents. They are all very friendly and keep people up to date with everything that is going on in the home. I could not wish for a better place for her care and well being.

I fought hard to get my mum into this care home after reviewing a few and being disappointed with respite care at previous homes. The moment I walked into Burlington, the warmth and friendliness of all the staff and manager wrapped itself around you and watching how mum interacted with the carers warmed my heart. As far as Mum is concerned I now am just a visitor, they are her family and she loves them - I am deeply grateful for this BurlingtonCourt Care Home and am happy my mum is there and looking forward to Christmas.

Very happy with the care my sister receives and glad that we chose Burlington Court with support from the care manager. Always responsive to any queries we may have. It is clearly a well-led home. Always a warm welcome and a homely feel.

Home seems well run. Staff really care for residents. Mum doesn't complain about the food, which is amazing. She always appears to be clean; I just wish she would be more interactive, but this is difficult in these times. Had no problem booking visits.

Burlington Court Care Home treated my Mother like a person rather than a Client or a Resident. They never forgot that Mum was a living, breathing, vibrant person before Dementia took her from us. She was encouraged to participate in activities, they talked to her to let her know what was happening to her and generally ensured that she remained calm and not agitated. They also kept me updated throughout Mums' stay there. Burlington Court Care Home was a true home for my Mum, and I could not have asked for more professional and caring staff to keep her safe and happy.

My mum was diagnosed with vascular dementia 7 years ago and even with 3 carers a day and multiple family sleepovers, she was no longer able to cope living at home. We were lucky enough to find Burlington Court who had a vacancy and from the very first moment I visited them I knew this was where I wanted Mum to be. I'd always felt that putting Mum in a care home would be like abandoning her, but after that visit, I just knew I was wrong. From the manager to every staff member I met, the facilities, the day trips, the daily activities, the regular tea trollies laden with freshly baked cakes and snacks, the amazing quality of the food in the restaurant, to the quality of care and love my Mum received, everything made our decision to home her there one we will never regret. Mum's other health issues caused her passing after 14 weeks, but we shall be forever grateful for what the staff did for her and they will always have our love and appreciation.

The staff are extremely attentive to the resident's needs and very caring, not only with the residents but also with family members. The staff also listen to any concerns in the resident's medication, health and anything they feel we should know. The management staff are also very approachable. I would also like to praise the cleaners and catering staff, they also do an excellent job.

From the minute we went to visit we were made very welcome and all staff were very friendly and polite. Although Mum was only here for 3 weeks, she was treated with dignity and respect in every aspect of her care. Every time we visited the residents seemed very happy and all staff went out of their way to make sure you didn't have any problems. I would definitely recommend the home.
