Mum has been in Burlington Court for several years now with Vascular Dementia from her moving in there it was a weight lifted off our shoulders. From the moment she arrived everyone treated her with respect, compassion, and as a person.
There is always a warm welcome when you arrive and it is a happy,
homely environment. Love all the staff who always have time and patience with Mum, she is very relaxed and happy there. We know that if there are any problems we will be notified.

I can not recommend Burlington enough - the staff and management are amazing, they are passionate about their resident's welfare and always keep the family updated - they have taken away the stress of us being carers and have allowed us to be a son and daughter-in-law again to our loved one by spending
quality time with her.

What a difference, Burlington Home is to my Mums last care home.
From the welcome you receive on arrival to the care and attention Mum receives from all the staff. All the staff go the extra mile to make sure residents and vistors are well cared for and looked after. Mum always looks so lovely , clean
and comfortable and I do feel reassured when I leave, she is in the right place. You will find it difficult to find a better managed care home than Burlington.

Everyone who looked after my husband from the management, reception and the wonderful carers on Tudor, I would like to express my gratitude for the caring and thoughtful way that was given to my husband and my family before his passing recently. Nothing was too much trouble and the kindness and patience
were exceptional. Many thanks to everyone.

I am very pleased with the care and everything the home does for residents. They are all very friendly and keep people up to date with everything that is going on in the home. I could not wish for a better place for her care and well being.

I fought hard to get my mum into this care home after reviewing a few and being disappointed with respite care at previous homes. The moment I walked into Burlington, the warmth and friendliness of all the staff and manager wrapped itself around you and watching how mum interacted with the carers warmed
my heart. As far as Mum is concerned I now am just a visitor, they are her family and she loves them - I am deeply grateful for this BurlingtonCourt Care Home and am happy my mum is there and looking forward to Christmas.

Home seems well run. Staff really care for residents. Mum doesn't complain about the food, which is amazing. She always appears to be clean; I just wish she would be more interactive, but this is difficult in these times. Had no problem booking visits.

Burlington Court Care Home treated my Mother like a person rather than a Client or a Resident. They never forgot that Mum was a living, breathing, vibrant person before Dementia took her from us. She was encouraged to participate in activities, they talked to her to let her know what was happening to
her and generally ensured that she remained calm and not agitated. They also kept me updated throughout Mums' stay there. Burlington Court Care Home was a true home for my Mum, and I could not have asked for more professional and caring staff to keep her safe and happy.

My mum was diagnosed with vascular dementia 7 years ago and even with 3 carers a day and multiple family sleepovers, she was no longer able to cope living at home. We were lucky enough to find Burlington Court who had a vacancy and from the very first moment I visited them I knew this was where I wanted
Mum to be. I'd always felt that putting Mum in a care home would be like abandoning her, but after that visit, I just knew I was wrong. From the manager to every staff member I met, the facilities, the day trips, the daily activities, the regular tea trollies laden with freshly baked cakes and snacks, the amazing quality of the food in the restaurant, to the quality of care and love my Mum received, everything made our decision to home her there one we will never regret. Mum's other health issues caused her passing after 14 weeks, but we shall be forever grateful for what the staff did for her and they will always have our love and appreciation.

The staff are extremely attentive to the resident's needs and very caring, not only with the residents but also with family members. The staff also listen to any concerns in the resident's medication, health and anything they feel we should know. The management staff are also very approachable. I would
also like to praise the cleaners and catering staff, they also do an excellent job.

From the minute we went to visit we were made very welcome and all staff were very friendly and polite. Although Mum was only here for 3 weeks, she was treated with dignity and respect in every aspect of her care. Every time we visited the residents seemed very happy and all staff went out of their
way to make sure you didn't have any problems. I would definitely recommend the home.

My sister has early-onset Alzheimer's. She is only 61 years old. The staff look after her in an age-appropriate way. They try to keep her young. Nothing is too much trouble for them, even when she has difficult days. I am always welcomed warmly and advised of her mood when I visit, which helps me approach
her correctly.

Extraordinary care within a remarkably efficient operation. After just a few days I know not only that my Dad is where he needs to be, but also that I can sleep well knowing he is in a caring, safe, and well managed home. The manager's focus is on care and it shows throughout his staff and their kind
attention to the residents as individuals. (They also attend to the very real concerns of a "novice" son, who has no prior experience of an elderly relative with onset dementia.) Bravo!

My brother was a resident in Burlington Court for 16 months and just passed away.
The high marks that I have given are a true reflection of everybody and everything relating to this care home. I recommend this home to anyone because I have had the privilege of seeing the loving care given to my brother
and he loved it. I will go further and say that God forbid anything happening to me, I would have no problem in going into Burlington.

My experience of this home is fantastic great staff, clean, no smell and very friendly. All the residents are looked after its home from home. I have already recommended the home to two more families who have put their family into the home and are very happy with it.
If I had to go into a home this
would be the one.

As a family, we can't thank the staff at Burlington Court Care home enough for the care they gave Dad in his final few months spent with us. Despite his battle with dementia, they all treated him as the person he was and helped maintain his dignity to the end. He mattered as an individual to them all
and that helped us cope with the sadness we all felt.

We always speak highly of Burlington to anyone who asks us about the standard of care. The staff are patient and kind in their treatment of the residents. We never hear a cross word spoken and Mum often told us how ‘nice the girls and guys are there’.

They do their best for vulnerable people in the most difficult times of their lives and we thank you for the support that you gave to families like ourselves as well.

The facilities, food, environment, activities and homely feel of the place is second to none.

With love and thanks.

I came to visit an elderly work friends wife. What a nice reception I received both on the phone and on arrival. The staff welcomed me and offered a drink on my arrival as well as the clients. I was overjoyed to see the resident happy and well. After years of depression she seems over it and comfortable.
The staff were a joy to see around happy and smiling. The clients talking about lots of activities they have been engaging in. One staff member sitting and holding the hand of a client and speaking with her. Such genuine care. I've visited a few care homes but this certainly made me very happy to be there. Congratulations all staff you are a delight.

My stepfather was a resident with Burlington Court Care Home. All the staff I encountered were extremely polite, approachable and friendly. It was obvious to me they cared about the wellbeing of all the residents. The care home is clean, bright and comfortable for the residents as well as being well
maintained. I would certainly recommend Burlington Court Care Home to others.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.683)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.683) out of 10 for Burlington Court Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 29 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 29 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.683 for Burlington Court Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (236 Excellents x 5) + (85 Goods x 4) + (10 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 331 Ratings = 4.683
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Burlington Court Care Home is based on 29 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 102 registered maximum number of service users is 20.4, which has been reached with 29 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
