Manor House in Middleton is a specialist dementia unit which caters for people with all types of dementia as well as those in the advanced stages of the condition with complex behavioural problems.
They have an excellent Care Quality Commission record which is available on request. The home has been accredited a 4 Rose rating by Northamptonshire County Council (NCC), and is an accredited Investor in People based on intensive staff training and development program. The home is also one of only two in the county who have had a care contract in place with the NCC for the last four years. In that time they have consistently shown a reduced reliance on medication for residents and a greater sense of their well-being.
They offer residents with a life limiting condition an opportunity to live their lives as fully as their condition allows.
The aim is to provide a quality of care that is person-centred, seeing each resident as unique with individual physical, social, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs. They employ well-trained professional staff that are supportive and empathetic to residents, families and friends.
Specialist care is provided with an emphasis on choice, dignity and confidentiality, within a relaxed and homely environment. Family members are encouraged to participate in the planning and delivery of care to their loved ones.
