Oak Lodge is long established and has gained an enviable reputation for care of the highest standards. It is a stone build home of exceptional character; a detached property set in charming gardens in Duston Northampton; recently refurbished.

Close attention is paid to facilities, services, accommodation. Great importance is given to training staff and is continuously updated to provide a safe and pleasant living experience for service users.

A full activities programme is provided by the coordinator.

All meals are wholesome and home cooked, prepared daily by the home's qualified chefs.

In the two years my husband has lived at Oak Lodge, first for a few weeks respite. He settled, happy with his surroundings and care. When his home circumstances changed, he stayed at Oak Lodge as a permanent resident. His family was happy with the situation as was the management. May I say on behalf

I can't fault the care given to my mum while she was a resident. Everyone showed her love and dignity. Absolutely superb. Prior to her becoming a resident, the staff helped me to negotiate with social services and the local financing team. During mum's last week of life, I felt as cared for as her.
Staff looked after us both with love, care, compassion and dignity. Thank you!

This is being written in the Covid-19 virus global pandemic. At the start of this nation's lockdown, Oak Lodge purchased 3 mobile phones and an iPad giving family and friends more opportunity to speak and Skype with residents. This contact gives to clients the much-needed peace of mind knowing that
they are loved and have not been forgotten.
I find this contact essential as the resident gains family support.
I have always found the staff to be cheerful and friendly.

My father moved into Oak Lodge in August 2019. He is happy living there. He is receiving excellent care from all the staff. The manager is very approachable and very caring. We have no issues at all with his care and support.
His room is very pleasant and the home is clean and has a good atmosphere.

I would certainly recommend Oak Lodge Care Home. Oak Lodge has a lovely homely feel to it. The staff were very caring and compassionate to both dad and ourselves.
Dad always enjoyed home-cooked food and on looking at a care home for dad, I certainly knew that this was important to him. Oak Lodge
certainly provided this. The food always looked and smelt delicious and dad always enjoyed it.
Towards the end of dad's life, Oak Lodge were outstanding. The compassion and empathy they showed towards dad and my family was second to none!

I can fully recommend Oak Lodge. My mother spent 18 years in the home and the last months the home treated her with great dignity and went out of their way to give extra care in her last moments.

Staff and management helpful, friendly and approachable. Residents looked after well and supported with minimum staff levels.

My father has been a resident at Oak Lodge Care Home for a year now. It was not long before he felt settled, once his books and ornaments were in his room and all these pictures and photos were in place.

My sister and brother-in-law were going on holiday on the 98th birthday of my brother-in-law's mother, so I offered to visit her that day. I have visited lots of care homes in my time and there has always been a smell. This home is bright, clean and no smells. The residents in the lounge all appeared
clean and happy. The resident I visited looked so well and contented, it made me so happy as a few months ago, prior to being here, was going downhill rapidly. I cannot tick all the boxes below, as I only experienced some but I intend to visit again.

Overall I have found this care home provides for all the varied needs of difficult cases, their basic needs are promptly responded to, plus they provide activities for the more able ones. Their level of communication with relatives and friends, respect for residents and their interests/policy in encouraging
contact with the residents family and community is outstanding. Any problems are responded to and changes made. Overall a happy environment for old age.

We chose Oak Lodge Care Home for our mother who suffers from dementia because of the welcoming atmosphere, happy residents and impressive management staff. Our stress of coping with our mum and her dementia has been eased greatly, as all aspects of her care are now efficiently managed by Oak Lodge Care
Home, from GP, medication, laundry, personal care etc. Mum loves the meals, she has a lovely room set out very much the same as at home with lots of company. We now spend quality time with mum and we can't praise the staff and management enough! Thank you!

Mum arrived at the beginning of this week.
We have found the home to be very good. The home has a lovely atmosphere. All the residents look happy and well cared for.
The staff are very friendly and approachable and have helped me to relax more knowing mum is well cared for.
I have no more worries
about mum's safety, medication, glasses, hairdresser and the list goes on.
