Sandalwood Court

I have no worries or concerns about leaving my mum in Sandalwood Court. She has the most care with staff; they are extremely good staff, good manners, well dressed and very good with their residents. All residents in Sandalwood Court are very, very well looked after.

The staff ate welcoming and friendly. They look after my other well. I recommend Sandalwood Court to anyone.

Since Mum has become a resident at Sandalwood Court, we have been so pleased with the care and attention she has received. During the lockdown, we were kept well informed with all issues concerning Mums health and wellbeing. All staff and management have been very caring towards Mum, and she has been kept safe and happy and loves taking part in all the activities. Couldn't have chosen a better place and even better now we can visit Mum and take her out for walks.

I have no complaints. I have expressed to the staff that I'm happy with things as they are. Without this care home, I would not survive, that is the simple truth. Long may I be enabled to survive without being too much of a burden on people that have my thankfulness for all my care.

All in all a very good experience.

We had the privilege of visiting this home 3 times when I was Mayor and we have got to say we were very impressed. The facilities were excellent everyone we met were very happy. The staff were professional, helpful and polite. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The events that we attended were very well organised and a lot of fun. Would like to say the food was lovely too especially the cakes.

I would highly recommend Sandalwood Court. Well done everybody, and thank you for everything you do!

During my visits, I found the staff to be cheerful and helpful at all times. I was always made welcome. During my mother's final days, I was unable to visit due to Covid-19, but I was kept informed and felt assured that my mother was treated with great care and dignity. Thank you all at Sandalwood.

Since the pandemic they have been exceptional, I am very grateful. My sister is 94 this coming October and she is very happy at Sandalwood. Thank you, everyone.

My parents moved into Sandalwood COUrt in November 2019. From the start, they were treated with great care and skill. The staff were all very friendly, caring and helpful. My father's health deteriorated earlier this year and she received the nest end of life care I could have wished for. In fact, the whole family were treated so kindly it helped us all through difficult days. The home continues to take exemplary care of my mother during these extremely difficult days of lockdown.

It is their home, dad sadly passed away but with every care and empathy mum is settled and we are happy she is happy.

I Would like to say a thank you to all the staff at Sandalwood Court for the care and support my mother was given over to two and a half years she was residing in the care home. She came on in confidence put weight on mixed with the residents and staff. Our mother was not an outgoing person but she came out of herself in there and loved a good quiz.

My mum entered Sandalwood around February 2020. I had many reservations as you hear so many bad tales. As it turns out mum has settled in better than I could have hoped. She has been treated with the highest care and dignity. The staff are very friendly, caring and so far nothing seems too much in mum's care. They have also acted so well in regards to Covid-19. They closed their doors a couple of weeks before lockdown came in and this has helped keep all the residents safe. I would recommend Sandalwood Court care home to anyone who needs a loved one cared for.

I have never seen my mum so happy as she has been while here, she looks great and most of all very happy. The staff do a great job, please pass on my best wishes to all staff and a massive thank you for looking after my mum so well, thank you.

This home is beautiful, clean and very well laid out. The staff are warm and welcoming. Mum settled very quickly and is very happy and has made new friends. The activities are excellent and on many occasions, I have witnessed how happy, settled and relaxed Mum is. This now gives me comfort in the knowledge that she is well cared for and I see her happy on each visit.

Very happy with the clean environment for my father-in-law. The staff are kind, considerate and caring. The food always looks and smell home-cooked. Could not be happier that he feels safe, secure, relaxed and well looked after. We can be reassured that he's in the best place and I could not recommend the home enough.

We are so pleased how Mum has settled into life at Sandalwood. She feels safe, happy and well looked after. The staff are extremely friendly and caring, they treat Mum with dignity and respect. Sandalwood is an uplifting place for Mum with its furnishings. She enjoys the privacy of her spacious room and also likes to take part in the many organised activities. She enjoys sitting the two very pretty, well-maintained gardens. All in all, Sandalwood has been the perfect place for Mum to be.

All the staff at Sandalwood Court are amazing. The level of care is amazing and the place always looks very well maintained. I can't praise the people highly enough, from the management to the care staff to the housekeepers and of course the activities co-ordinator. I can't think of anywhere better to provide the care and comfort that my mum receives. Thank you all so much from me and all my family.

Such a lovely care home, cannot put a single fault to them. The staff are so caring and really look after their residents, as well as the families involved. They made sure that we had a shoulder to cry on, a cuddle when needed and plenty of food. They really did go above and beyond. My grandma loved it there and I'm so happy she got to experience the kindness and love from everyone who worked with her.

Keep doing what you're doing, you have some amazing staff. There are so many horror stories which you hear with some care homes - but from my experience, this one gave nothing but support and friendship to everybody.
