Review from Trish T (Daughter of Resident) published on 2 December 2025 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My mother lived at Broadlands for several years after becoming too frail and confused to live independently. COVID was still a problem when she first moved in so there were stringent procedures in place to protect residents. We did not therefore experience the full Broadlands family atmosphere until later on but in spite of the restrictions, the wonderful staff at Broadlands made us feel very welcome and it was obvious that mum was being well cared for. We loved the videos of Christmas celebrations with staff dressed up and extra presents given to every resident. After COVID restrictions were lifted, my brother and I became part of the family and saw the kindness and care in interactions between staff and residents. Safeguarding procedures were rigorous whilst allowing residents freedom to feel like individuals in their own home. Whilst this is not a clinical purpose built home with all the facilities, it is always very clean and homely, meals are appetising and the staff truly care.

Overall Experience
My mother in law has been a resident at Broadlands for a number of years and I'm delighted with how well looked after and how happy she is.
The staff are professional, respectful and really caring and do all they can to create what is a happy family "home from home" atmosphere .

The fees are very reasonable and I thoroughly recommend Broadlands.
