From the first enquiry about his stay, during his stay, staff were extremely helpful, informative and friendly.
Dad received first class professional care. All meals freshly prepared with a good choice of menu. The rooms, in fact everywhere is kept spotlessly clean.
Thank you for taking the time to review our home. It's always great to receive recognition for the great service and care that the Clipstone Hall team provide. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Clipstone family
I am sure my friend feels very safe in the home which is very satisfying.
Thanks you for taking the time to review our home . Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will fo course pass them on to the home .
The staff are very proficient and extremely caring. Whenever my father has an issue they are quick to notify me. My father's needs are very complex and he is unable to communicate effectively, however the carers have taken the time to work with him, to understand what he wants and how best to look after him. I could not wish for my father to be cared for any more than he is. The staff (carers, cleaners, cooks, admin's) are wonderful and it is plain to see that they really do care about the residents. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment.
Many thanks for taking time to review our home and recognising the hard work and professionalism of the home team . Your sentiments are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Clipstone family .
I cannot recommend this care home enough. My dad has had an amazing final 9 months. The care staff absolutely exceptional at all times. They are caring and attentive to all needs. Above and beyond at all times! Exceptional food always offered, clothes kept well and all needs catered for. Brilliant activities programme and Christmas was such a fun time with different things happening every day. I cannot thank them enough.
May I take this opportunity to offer our sincere condolences for your loss? I know your Dad is sadly missed by all. Thank you for taking the time to write this review recognising the work that goes on within our home. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Clipstone Hall & Lodge family.
Mam is being cared for very well. Staff are great, caring and friendly. She feels safe and I am content she is looked after and is safe. I visit every day and I see for myself the care that is invested by the staff to make the residents feel at home.

Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Clipstone Hall & Lodge team.
The corridors are bright and clean with very comfortable individual rooms going off. Two floors are in regular use. There are two lounges on each floor. The upper floor residents use their lounges regularly and I wish the ground floor lounges were used more, they are comfortable. Instead some residents spend hours in the dining rooms. The activities group is making advances and use them. The staff always treat the residents kindly even when they are short staffed. One thing I cannot get used to is the amount of noise in the corridors some nights. The staff call to one another and the residents play music and have televisions on after 11pm and before 8am even with bedroom doors open. The food is fair, mostly from frozen foods and repetitive. I enjoy the puddings. The rooms have some cleaning each day but the laundry can take some time to return. I am leaving soon but I have been promised I can come back if I need the support. The place is the problem. There are very large trees around the building which in Summer makes some rooms very dark and then in Autumn the billions of leaves cover the footpaths which makes them very dangerous for those who like a bit of fresh air and exercise.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It has been a pleasure to care for you and you will be missed. All feedback is welcomed and allows us to continually develop our service. We agree that the dining room is in use more than the lounges however that is from residents choice and not...
My mum is always treated with respect, dignity and care. If she needs anything, the staff let me know. The staff are always friendly as well as hard working. They always interact with the residents and have a laugh with them and us. I am always kept informed of mum's care plan and any updates. If I have any queries, they are always happy to help.

Mum has been staying here for around a year and a half. We've always found staff very approachable and helpful. The care mum has received has been second to non, the food and drink first class, I couldn't recommend Clipstone Hall and Lodge highly enough. Along with my father and sister, we visit regularly and have always found mum's dementia needs to have been met above and beyond. A very well deserved thank you to all of the staff and management.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is a privilege to care for your mum. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will ensure that they are passed on to the Clipstone family .

My Mother came to Clipstone Hall and Lodge for respite. On arrival her room wasn't ready, also she didn't have a remote to prop up not lay down. Mum enjoyed the company of other residents and said the food was lovely. More than enough. The only downside was when I had booked a cut and blow-dry, in the end, she had a trim and was sat on the commode. All staff that I met were lovely.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It was a privilege to care for your Mother and are delighted she enjoyed her time with us. If you could contact the home in respect of the negative points raised we would be happy to discuss the findings of our investigation. All feedback is...
Mum wasn't the easiest to help once her dementia took hold. But your staff remained professional and empathic. They were outstanding with all their help and compassion at the end. Not just towards mum, but to me as well. Nothing was too much trouble.
I cannot thank them enough for all their help during the last few months in making sure my mum was cared for and looked after.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It was a pleasure and a privilege to care for your Mum. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Clipstone Hall family.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and also very caring towards the residents, we couldn't have wished for better staff looking after our mother. The staff is also very understanding with the residents. The care home was also very clean and tidy and had lovely meals for the residents.

Overall, a positive experience. Great, caring staff. My husband is treated with dignity, no task is too small. I am treated with respect. Always informed about my husband's well-being. The staff are caring towards visiting loved ones and always available for a chat, a supportive shoulder to cry on and a friendly face. Management are easy to approach and are sensitive to every aspect of my husband's and my care.
