All Clipstone Hall residents are supported to live an active and fulfilled life. The person-centred care ethos puts residents' health and wellbeing central to everything providing a truly holistic care package.
The facilities at Clipstone Hall & Lodge allow residents to enjoy other everyday routines that promote independence, from using the communal lounges, enjoying the gardens and views to utilising the Beauty Salon or meeting friends for a drink in their own ‘York House Tavern’.
There is a whole range of activities on offer including arts and crafts sessions, gardening, exercise classes, cinema nights, quizzes, musical performances, and pamper sessions. These activities are purposeful and full of self-worth. There is a great variety of activities to try, with new activities added frequently.
The in-house chefs will prepare exceptional food from fresh, seasonal produce that’s locally sourced where possible. Menus will include a mix of delicious and nutritious options including traditional classic meals, Residents’ favourites and exciting international cuisine.

My mother has recently moved into Clipstone Hall. The staff were very supportive of us as we moved her in. They were so friendly and caring, settling her in. The whole process was very smooth for all of us.

My mother has recently moved into Clipstone Hall. The staff were very supportive of us as we moved her in. They were so friendly and caring, settling her in. The whole process was very smooth for all of us. My mother has had to attend several hospital appointments and the Home have arranged it all. It is such a relief to know that whenever she comes back from an appointment she is welcomed and fussed over - with toast and hot chocolate - and reassuring staff sitting with her and being there in the night. There is always a lovely atmosphere when you visit and every member of staff has a smile and a hello. She knows her staff well now and they know her and they really are like friends. Her personal care is exemplary, the whole place is clean and fresh and airy. Most importantly to her, the food is delicious. After many years of microwave meals she is thoroughly enjoying fresh, home cooked food, especially the dinners.
I am so pleased we found Clipstone Hall for her and for us

The care at Clipstone is exemplary. Everyone is kind and caring - not just the care staff. Yesterday morning we had to take mum to a funeral and they dressed her wonderfully for us to collect her. They'd even curled her hair! Everyone does the very best they can and many staff go above and beyond.

This is not anything out of the ordinary as they are always caring and loving, and go above and beyond on a regular basis, but I wanted my thanks and appreciation to be known to them and others. My wife was in the care home for a respite break, this was her (our) first time of experiencing this aspect of 'caring' and I admit I was a little apprehensive as we have never really 'done apart'. Wow! We have been so happy during her stay. The care home is brilliantly run, all the staff are excellent. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed and this creates a lovely feeling of 'family'. The staff are totally focused and professional in their work with nothing being too much trouble. The catering is of a very high standard, food is wholesome, tasty and is prepared and served very well. It has been a very reassuring stay for my wife and myself. We have been treated most courtesously but most importantly this experience has seen a very positive change to my wife's general health and attitude. Thank you so much.
