I cannot thank the manager and her team enough for the excellent care they have given my Mum in such difficult circumstances this year. Everyone is very approachable and professional and I would definitely recommend Clipstone Hall and Lodge to any other families needing care for their loved ones.

Speaking as my wife's husband I cannot speak highly enough about my wife's stay at Clipstone Hall after multiple fractures. It is equally as good as a five-star hotel.

My mother moved to Clipstone Lodge about six months ago. The carers have taken really good care of her and she is very happy there. The management are always helpful and caring. It was a hard decision to let Mum live there as she used to be so independent but she has settled in really well and our family are so grateful to the staff.

My grandad went into respite three weeks ago now. He was only going in for two weeks as planned and he loved it that much, he wanted to stay an extra week. I highly recommend this care home to anybody who has mixed decisions for any family member of their own who is looking around. The home care manager has gone above and beyond for us and my grandad along with all her staff. They’ve all made us feel at ease knowing that my grandad is safe and being very well looked after in the hands of their care. They’ve always phoned to let us know if he needed anything. I’ll be more than happy if my grandad decided to stay here permanently. They welcome you with open arms and make you feel like you're at home. Thank you, Clipstone Lodge and Hall, for all you’re doing and the help you are providing for us and my grandad, you're amazing!

My grandma has been in here for a couple of months now. She began to be a resident though lockdown, which was a very difficult time for everyone. However, the staff were incredible and made my grandma feel at home. She is so settled and happy now getting the right care that she deserves. They don’t make it feel like a typical ‘care home’, they make every day different and enjoyable. What more could we ask for! 5-star rating to all the staff! A credit to you all.

These are difficult times for everyone at the moment. How many of us have been watching the care home crisis unfold alongside the Coronavirus epidemic, fearful for our loved ones in care? At Clipstone Hall & Lodge, all the staff, ably led by the manager, have done the utmost to create a safe and peaceful haven for residents. As a family, we are beyond grateful for all your love and care of our dear Mum and would like to thank you for your tireless attempts to keep going when the going got tough! You took the time to give us regular updates, making Skype calls available when face to face contact was lost, and the telephone could always be put to an ear to allay fears. You have all been complete stars throughout this time. Thank you!

My husband was in for 2-weeks respite and settled so well he wanted to stay an extra week. He seems much calmer than he was at home and is eating well. Staff are always friendly and only too willing to chat about any concerns you may have and to give regular updates. Would be more than happy if his stay was to become permanent that he remain at Clipstone.

My friend has been a resident at Clipstone Hall for around a year, she was very nervous at first when she went into a residential care home. I have to say she truly enjoys living at Clipstone Hall, the staff have gone that extra mile to ensure she settled in and spent time reassuring her and encouraging her to join in the fantastic activities the care home offers, even during the COVID-19 outbreak she has spent time with the activities staff in the garden, planting flowers and doing arts and crafts. I would recommend this care home to everyone, the staff are truly outstanding and I can’t thank them enough for all their hard work.

All carers are lovely and really helpful. They really make the resident settled and at home. The staff don’t make it feel like a care home they make it more like a holiday home and making every day different to entertain all residents and guests. Lovely people and a lovely place.

My Grandma has been at Clipstone Hall & Lodge for around 2 years now, the staff have always been very friendly and extremely kind, nothing is too much trouble. Over the past few months when the home has had restricted visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic the staff have been outstanding, we have received regular contact from them updating us on how my Grandma has been. My Auntie has been a resident at the home for a year now. She is very happy. The care staff and management do a fantastic job and with what has happened in the last few months I cannot thank you enough for all you do. Amazing. Thank you all so much.
Kind regards. Home Manager
My friend of many years found her place at Clipstone Hall & Lodge earlier this year. The transformation in her has been remarkable. She has truly blossomed there. The staff have been welcoming and attended to her every need. The care shown to bring her out of herself has been outstanding. She has made many friends among the staff and the residents. She particularly enjoys the activities and has both participated and assisted in their development. She is truly at home there.

I cannot thank the care home and all the staff enough, from the domestics to the management team, for the care and support given to my friend during the last few months especially during COVID-19. It has been hard not to come in and visit but knowing she is safe and is been well looked after by the staff has been a great help and one less thing for us to worry about. The communication is good they ring with updates regularly to let us know how she is.

My grandmother has always been happy here. They have lots of activities both internally and externally of the home which able residents are encouraged to take part in. I know favourites of my grandmothers are the local farm park bringing lambs, etc. and also some local nursery children who come and visit! During the months of lockdown, I was kept up to date as to what was happening and the doctor who takes care of this area called me for an in-depth chat which I found very helpful and comforting. The food served is very good. Rooms are nice and the staff are friendly and very helpful.

Now under the ownership of Burlington Care Homes, the home continues to provide an impressive number of supporting features for the elderly. The carers themselves really live up to their name, whilst home managers keep me constantly informed about Mum’s welfare. Menus are excellent, hygiene standards are very high indeed, and there are a range of activities for residents to get involved with. Highly recommended.
