Welcome to Clipstone Hall & Lodge Care Home, located in the mining village of Clipstone. The purpose-built home is situated in the shadow of the Grade II listed colliery headstocks and just a short drive from Mansfield.

Each of the 90 ensuite bedrooms is furnished to a high standard offering Residents the chance to enjoy comfort and tranquillity.

At Clipstone Hall & Lodge providing independence and choice is very important.

Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own belongings to help them feel at home.

All Clipstone Hall residents are supported to live an active and fulfilled life. The person-centred care ethos puts residents' health and wellbeing central to everything providing a truly holistic care package.

The facilities at Clipstone Hall & Lodge allow residents to enjoy other everyday routines that promote independence, from using the communal lounges, enjoying the gardens and views to utilising the Beauty Salon or meeting friends for a drink in their own ‘York House Tavern’.      

There is a whole range of activities on offer including arts and crafts sessions, gardening, exercise classes, cinema nights, quizzes, musical performances, and pamper sessions. These activities are purposeful and full of self-worth. There is a great variety of activities to try, with new activities added frequently.

The in-house chefs will prepare exceptional food from fresh, seasonal produce that’s locally sourced where possible. Menus will include a mix of delicious and nutritious options including traditional classic meals, Residents’ favourites and exciting international cuisine.

Such an amazing home, couldn't wish for any better for the way they care for my grandmother. The activities that are always posted on Burlington, shows how much hard work and effort they out into there jobs.

Clipstone Hall & Lodge has a fantastic staff team and a lovely atmosphere, the activity staff member is amazing and always encourages my mum to join in with activities. The food is very nice and there is plenty of choices. My mum has been a resident at the home for a number of months and she is so happy
there. I am glad we decided on Clipstone Hall & Lodge, it's a comfort knowing my mum is safe and extremely well looked after.

I cannot thank the care home and all the staff enough, from the domestics to the management team, for the care and support given to my friend during the last few months especially during COVID-19. It has been hard not to come in and visit but knowing she is safe and is been well looked after by the
staff has been a great help and one less thing for us to worry about. The communication is good they ring with updates regularly to let us know how she is.

My grandmother has always been happy here. They have lots of activities both internally and externally of the home which able residents are encouraged to take part in. I know favourites of my grandmothers are the local farm park bringing lambs, etc. and also some local nursery children who come and
visit! During the months of lockdown, I was kept up to date as to what was happening and the doctor who takes care of this area called me for an in-depth chat which I found very helpful and comforting. The food served is very good. Rooms are nice and the staff are friendly and very helpful.

Moving one’s parent to a care home is a very difficult decision to make. My family tried to look after Mum in her own home, with home support, for as long as we possibly could, but even with the best of intentions, we felt we really weren’t taking care of all her needs at all. As a consequence, her
physical and mental state simply deteriorated. So, we made the decision to move her into Clipstone Hall & Lodge, an impressive establishment already partly familiar to us via previous relatives.
Now under the ownership of Burlington Care Homes, the home continues to provide an impressive number of supporting features for the elderly. The carers themselves really live up to their name, whilst home managers keep me constantly informed about Mum’s welfare. Menus are excellent, hygiene standards are very high indeed, and there are a range of activities for residents to get involved with. Highly recommended.

We have found that care is better than we expected. The carers and staff are exceptional, not only offering kindness but also love. We are kept informed of anything that concerns Mother throughout the Covid situation. The home has been in regular contact.

The carers and staff at Clipstone Lodge are both professional and caring. Nothing is too much trouble as they try to make a welcoming environment for the residents. They even set my aunt's hair after a shower. The food is good and the rooms well furnished. A big thank you to everyone who has gone above
and beyond during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Great staff, truly care for residents in their care.
My mother enjoys her time and is so happy being in a caring atmosphere. She really loves the attention and companionship from not only staff but other residents. Her quality of life in the later years has been enhanced by being in residential care
and Clipstone Hall and Lodge ticks a lot of boxes. During COVID-19 I haven’t been able to see my mother but I rest assured that she’s safe in the hands of competent, friendly caring staff.

Clipstone Lodge is a very nice homely place and our friend is very happy here.
All the staff are very helpful and friendly and keep us all updated on how our friend is progressing.

My mother has been for respite four times, in the last three years, she feels comfortable and is well looked after. I feel very happy to go away and leave her here.
Her dementia is worsening and if she has to go in full-time care I would be happy for her to go here.

This is such a lovely place. The staff and management always keep you well informed. It is such a worrying time but they are doing everything to ease our worries. My friend is so well looked after and us so comfortable. The rooms are so homely and always clean.

Fantastic care home, my nan has dementia and poor mobility, she no longer can physically come on holiday with us anymore. We use Clipstone Lodge whilst we go away and they are absolutely amazing, she comes home smiling and loves staying there. The staff and care home manager can't do enough for her
or us.

My mum is a resident at Clipstone Hall & Lodge, she is looked after very well, the staff are amazing, very helpful, kind and caring. My mum is always happy, with the lockdown on they let me talk to her on the phone and she was so happy and well. It was great to talk to her and made my day and it is
great to know she is being looked after so well. Communication with the staff is very good, they always ring and keep me updated on everything and always make me very welcome too.

A caring organisation where staff and management have always gone the extra mile to communicate with myself, giving details of my mother's health and emotional well being.
Further photographs have been sent of Mom's accommodation which looks first-class and the activities at the home encourage participation.
The organisation are quick to seek medical attention when required.

Mum has Alzheimer's and her condition was rapidly deteriorating when she took up residence at Clipstone in 2017. The home has a good welcoming social atmosphere, is proactive in the provision of varied entertainment for its residents and is operated in small distinct units that provide Mum with a familiar
social grouping in the lounge and dining room. There is a good choice of food, residents are allowed whatever time is needed to eat meals and help is readily at hand to assist. Mum is happy at Clipstone, content and very well cared for, resulting in a slowdown in her deterioration. The staff have proved effective in promptly identifying possible health issues and work well with the local health centre to address these.
Clipstone has been impressive during the Covid-19 crisis when despite the additional demands placed upon their staff, they have made time to keep us informed, never too busy to answer any queries and on occasions even finding time to help Mum talk to us on the phone.

All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My friend is being very well looked after and is being more socially active. The administrators and management team have taken the time and effort to listen to our concerns and have taken appropriate action where possible. They have kept us informed
at every stage. The home is extremely clean and well kept.
