Very pleased with the service given by all staff.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Clipstone family.
My friend only moved to Clipstone Hall & Lodge a couple of months ago. The move was made as smoothly as possible and everyone was so helpful. The carers all seem to be doing a good job and are so friendly. My friend has only mentioned a couple of times that he's had to wait a while for one to come when he's buzzed. The manager had a meeting in June which was very informative. He said what he intended to do to improve and listened to friends' concerns. It was a good meeting.
Dear Barbara, many thanks for taking the time to review our home. All feedback is welcomed and allows us to continually develop our service. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the Clipstone Hall family.
Your staff do a great job in sometimes difficult circumstances to make residents feel cared for and valued, they treat them with dignity and make family feel welcome at all times.

My mum went into Clipstone just over 4 years ago just before COVID struck. I was going to move her out, but very dissatisfied, obviously COVID came, had to leave her there, this morning I finally moved her out to a new care home, which for a 92-year-old with dementia is a big issue. The new manager arrived nearly a year ago full of good intentions to make it a better place, but none of them materialised. It went into special measures and residents' families had to find out through reading the newspaper, disgusting. I would wholeheartedly not recommend Clipstone Hall and Lodge to anybody.
I feel your comments regarding the management at the home are not only incorrect but unfair. The home was put into special measures in April 2022. The existing manager...
My sister became a resident here in November 2022. She's settled nicely and is happy and contented. Im happy with the care she is given, all staff are kind, caring and sympathetic to her needs. I know she is well looked after, she has regular meals and is warm and safe.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your sister. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will, of course, pass them on to the manager and the Clipstone colleagues.
The home is a lovely place for my mum to stay, the staff are so kind and understanding, and it feels like nothing is too much trouble. The manager and the admin team are positive and have been both helpful and supportive of both my mother and our family during a time of real worry for us all.
Dear Jon, Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your mum. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the manager and the Clipstone Hall family.
I met the new home manager this week and I found her lovely and very caring. I wish her well in her new post.
Dear Christine, many thanks for taking the time to review our home, it is our pleasure to care for your husband. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will of course pass them on to the manager and the team at Clipstone Hall & Lodge.
I find that some people are born carers, some (few) are barely adequate.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. All feedback is welcomed and continually allows us to develop our service. It is our pleasure to care for you and I will ensure that your comments are passed on to the manager and the team at Clipstone Hall.
Have been a resident since July 2020, came in at the height of the pandemic which was dealt with extremely well in keeping us safe and well. My experience has been very good as I came in as an emergency. Everyone has shown kindness as it was a difficult situation when I first came. Much appreciated how my dignity is importantly maintained.

My dad has been living at Clipstone Hall & Lodge Care Home since June, he has relaxed and fitted straight in. Every time I visit he is happy and content. The staff are always helpful, Dad moving was a big move for both of us but they have made his transition as smooth as possible and he is happy. Thank you.
Many thanks for taking the time to review our home. It is our pleasure to care for your dad and are delighted he has settled in so well. Your kind words are greatly appreciated and I will ensure that they are passed on to Emma and her team at Clipstone Hall and Lodge .
My friend asked me to go and look around Clipstone Hall and Lodge Care Home for her brother. On arrival, we were met by the home manager who took time with us to show around the home and explained everything. Her brother went into the home and has settled really well, the staff have been fantastic in making him feel welcome and make him happy. Would definitely recommend the home.

I can't thank the staff enough for what they have done for my friend. Before going to the home she had become withdrawn now she is like her old self always smiling and chatty. We get to speak over video call where she tells me about all the activities she has joined in with and I get to visit her and have a natter via their pod. I have found that the staff are friendly and approachable, I know I'm not family but we are close friends, known each other for years and it helps knowing she is safe and well looked after in a beautiful home.

Many thanks for your review and feedback for Clipstone Hall & Lodge Care Home.
Had a visit on Saturday with my lovely mum who has been in Clipstone Hall and Lodge for over a year now. I was very unhappy to find mum with long dirty fingernails. It looked like faeces caked under her nails. Later that day I found out mum has had E-coli. The home did not inform me of this, although I am one of the family contacts. She has been poorly for a few weeks now. It breaks my heart to see mum this way, she deserves a lot better. All it would have taken was staff to have made sure she was clean, it's basic care that is not being given. We asked to trust in these people to care for our dear loved ones and I don't feel some even have a caring bone in their body. To some, it is just a job.
At Burlington Care we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care along with being open and honest, I would like to assure you that any concerns raised in regards to the quality of care are taken very seriously and investigated by the management team. I have an open-door policy and would like...
My mum was accepted as an emergency, the team made her very welcome and really looked after her. We were able to make this a permanent home for her, which we and my mum were very happy about. Even though the pandemic, everyone has made every effort to keep my mum safe and let us visit.
Kind regards.
My mum is currently at Clipstone Hall & Lodge on respite (and hopefully permanently) after an increase of falls at home, and due to her no longer feeling safe in her home. Since she has been there I have visited her not only in the designated visitors pod but also in house following lateral flow testing and by following PPE guidelines. The care staff have made her feel at home and safe and she now refers to Clipstone Hall & Lodge as ‘home’. She has been socialising with the other residents and carers and after over a year of shielding and having little contact with anyone she is the happiest I have seen her for a long time especially as she is such a social individual. The care staff keep me updated with what is going on, and I have spoken to her on the phone most days, and even FaceTimed her with the help of one of the carers. She is enjoying the activities that she is participating in, and has nothing but praise for the food which is being served too.

Very obliging and very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Excellent service throughout. I have no complaints. Situated on the outskirts of Clipstone with easy access to a car park. My husband is very settled there.

My mum has been in Clipstone Hall & Lodge for 3 years now and from the very beginning, it has been like home not only for my mum but for me too! Every single member of staff is kind, caring and friendly. The pandemic has been a difficult time for everyone, throughout all this I have been kept up to date with everything that has involved my mum, this has been greatly appreciated by me and my family. Before Covid I was a very regular visitor to the home, although I obviously missed my mum I was comfortable in the knowledge that she was being well looked after not just physically but loved too. The atmosphere in the home is always very pleasant and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble should you have a concern or query. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Clipstone Hall & Lodge to anyone. Thank you to everyone.

Clipstone Hall and Lodge are fantastic. Communication has been wonderful during this very difficult time. They have been really supportive and made sure that Mum has everything she needs. They have been very good at letting me know how Mum is, even passing her the phone for a chat. They have helped me through a very difficult time as well, always willing to lend an ear. They go above and beyond. I am really looking forward to a time when we can have 'proper' visits, without the perspex. But the pod and video calls will get us through.
