The carers and staff at Clipstone Lodge are both professional and caring. Nothing is too much trouble as they try to make a welcoming environment for the residents. They even set my aunt's hair after a shower. The food is good and the rooms well furnished. A big thank you to everyone who has gone above and beyond during the Coronavirus outbreak.

Great staff, truly care for residents in their care.

My mother enjoys her time and is so happy being in a caring atmosphere. She really loves the attention and companionship from not only staff but other residents. Her quality of life in the later years has been enhanced by being in residential care and Clipstone Hall and Lodge ticks a lot of boxes. During COVID-19 I haven’t been able to see my mother but I rest assured that she’s safe in the hands of competent, friendly caring staff.

My mother has been for respite four times, in the last three years, she feels comfortable and is well looked after. I feel very happy to go away and leave her here.

Her dementia is worsening and if she has to go in full-time care I would be happy for her to go here.

Fantastic care home, my nan has dementia and poor mobility, she no longer can physically come on holiday with us anymore. We use Clipstone Lodge whilst we go away and they are absolutely amazing, she comes home smiling and loves staying there. The staff and care home manager can't do enough for her or us.

My mum is a resident at Clipstone Hall & Lodge, she is looked after very well, the staff are amazing, very helpful, kind and caring. My mum is always happy, with the lockdown on they let me talk to her on the phone and she was so happy and well. It was great to talk to her and made my day and it is great to know she is being looked after so well. Communication with the staff is very good, they always ring and keep me updated on everything and always make me very welcome too.

A caring organisation where staff and management have always gone the extra mile to communicate with myself, giving details of my mother's health and emotional well being.

Further photographs have been sent of Mom's accommodation which looks first-class and the activities at the home encourage participation. The organisation are quick to seek medical attention when required.

Overall Experience
Mum has Alzheimer's and her condition was rapidly deteriorating when she took up residence at Clipstone in 2017. The home has a good welcoming social atmosphere, is proactive in the provision of varied entertainment for its residents and is operated in small distinct units that provide Mum with a familiar social grouping in the lounge and dining room. There is a good choice of food, residents are allowed whatever time is needed to eat meals and help is readily at hand to assist. Mum is happy at Clipstone, content and very well cared for, resulting in a slowdown in her deterioration. The staff have proved effective in promptly identifying possible health issues and work well with the local health centre to address these.

Clipstone has been impressive during the Covid-19 crisis when despite the additional demands placed upon their staff, they have made time to keep us informed, never too busy to answer any queries and on occasions even finding time to help Mum talk to us on the phone.

All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My friend is being very well looked after and is being more socially active. The administrators and management team have taken the time and effort to listen to our concerns and have taken appropriate action where possible. They have kept us informed at every stage. The home is extremely clean and well kept.
