I visit the home almost everyday and the welcome is always great. The management team are always available for you to talk to and happily deal with any concern raised no matter how small.
All the staff I have met are extremely friendly and show real care in the wellbeing of the residents.
There are so many of them it is difficult to mention them as they are all great, but I know that my mum has mentioned Jak and Cameron on a number of occasions to me for being so helpful and also all the team who work in the kitchen.
The home is friendly and they are always looking at new things they can do or purchase for the residents.
If I wanted to I know that even I can eat there If I wanted to and could arrange to have Sunday lunch there.
It is difficult to adjust to seeing a lived one living in a different way but the team have made this easier to see.
There is plenty of space to go into in order to have family time and conversations aswell.
Thank you
Thank you for your really lovely and very kind review of Nottingham Care Village, I will pass on your kind words to the staffing team at Nottingham Care Village.
I recently visited the home for the first time and I had the pleasure to meet Emma & some of her team. I thought all the staff were excellent, caring and attentive to each resident. The home is beautiful, bright and airy, and has a feeling of being in someone's home, especially when sitting inside the conservatory. I was extremely pleased to see that my dear resident appears to be settled, happy and being well cared for. Plenty of easy parking and manicured gardens.
Well done Emma & the team!

I always find the staff extremely supportive in the care for my Dad. They are all very welcoming, listen to any concerns I might have big or small and communicate well with any issues there may be. The staff have also supported me and my family during this transition period of moving my Dad from his home to the care home. That it also much appreciated. There are many activities, external visitors booked, events organised for the residents . Relatives are invited too. Food looks delicious - a very friendly catering team.

When I have visited my friend the staff have always been wonderful with their care towards all the residents. The staff treat the residents as if they were one of their own family. I would highly recommend this care home to my family and friends.

Senior Management spent the majority of their time in their offices. Staff ignored residents when they pleaded to go to the toilet. Upstairs (where the majority had dementia) were given no stimulation and just left in front of the tv. We were promised they would be taken down for activities but disappointingly this never happened! Upstairs the room and chairs smelt of urine and again residents were ignored. Some staff were amazing but the majority preferred sitting at the table downstairs on their phones (not logging patient details as we were told!). My advise is to choose a home based on the best care and not on the surroundings. The most expensive care is definitely not the best!
Thank you for your review. At Nottingham Care Village we pride ourselves in delivering the best care possible, we have a duty of care to all our residents and at times we have to make hard decisions for the safety and wellbeing of our residents at the care home.
The staff are always positive and put the residents first, they always smile and make time to interact with the residents.

We couldn't ask for a better home for my Great Aunt. The quality of care has been outstanding throughout her time here. The care they provide is truly exceptional and has given our family total peace of mind. The staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure the residents are happy and well-supported. Highly recommended for their dedication and professionalism.

I felt so relaxed when I walked in, everyone was friendly, all doors were open and everyone shouted Hi as we passed.
I saw residents laughing in a large room while they were doing an exercise class.
My friend's mum was having her hair done when arrived, we walked in and saw she was laughing and joking with the hairdresser.
We sat in the salon and joined in the fun, remembering things my friend's mum wanted to talk about, as she has dementia but you couldn't tell with the casual conversation.
Whilst we were in there the chef came in to ask her preference for lunch, once again more banter and laughter.
When I came in for the first time in a care home, I expected it to smell and people just sitting there doing nothing.
I left feeling uplifted, this is a family having so much fun and enjoying life, I even asked the lady cleaning what products she used as it all smelt so lovely.

Both Mum and I are very satisfied with the care she receives.
Staff are really nice and attentive and make every effort to see that Mum is happy and that her care needs are met.
I would just like to say that if Mum was in any way unhappy or had any problems...trust me I would be hearing about it/them. Nothing to report.....

In the 2.5 years mum has been at NCV she has always been treated with respect and kindness. Staff are always on hand to help both her and me if I need to ask anything . What I most like is that there isn't a turn over of staff and a carer can always be found to talk to in the residents lounge/ kitchenette area and office doors are usually open to chat to management . Compared to other care homes we know of, the fees are less whilst the care and friendliness is greater .

We were informed upon Mums initial visit that the staff to client ration was well above the minimum requirements stipulated by the governing bodies. During Mums visit, if required, assistance arrived promptly, friendly and conscientiously.
The accommodation is safe, clean and well maintained and kept at comfortable temperature. The furniture is modern and well appointed.
Good quality food is freshly prepared with a good select and with the kitchen in full view of the dining area.
Staff are polite and go the extra mile to assist, from the initial booking to departure and ensure pleasant stay.
As we self fund the rates are reasonable and on par with other service providers, however we feel the quality is above that of other providers in the area and as a result we believe the rates to be good value.

After an initial call with the deputy manager at Nottingham Care Village, I was invited to visit the home and see the short-stay facilities on offer. Nottingham Care Village was able to offer us a room immediately and could provide the kind of profile bed and wet room facilities that we needed to aid recovery.
My mother-in-law was there for 9 weeks in total and found her stay to be very pleasant despite being mostly bed-bound. The staff were extremely welcoming, kind, patient, and attentive. The facilities were modern, extremely clean, and my Mother-in-law was bathed every day and tended to with great care.
The food was varied and enjoyable, with plenty of fresh fruit on offer, and her diet preferences were adhered to. So glad we found this home, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I was impressed by Nottingham Care Village from my very first visit. It is in a lovely location, and Dad's room had a really pleasant view over gardens, green space and chickens! The staff are warm, welcoming and caring- they were flexible to dad's needs, even working with a physio on his visit, and making arrangements for dad to share in family birthday celebrations. Dad loved the food, especially the homemade cakes every afternoon, and the whole family felt supported by the staff team. The facilities were clean and ideal for Dad. An excellent experience for us; would highly recommend it.
