My mum has lived in Beechville for several years and throughout the covid pandemic. I can't speak too highly of the staff, they are so dedicated and always kind and thoughtful. The environment is lovely and now that the restrictions have been lifted, there are lots of activities as well.

Thank you so much for taking the time to send through a review for Beechville. Mum is so happy and settled, even from speaking with her yesterday telling me how lovely her room is and with a great view. I agree, it's been wonderful having the restrictions lifted and seeing so many family and...

Since my father has been in Beechville it has been under the Covid pandemic. So visiting has been limited, but I feel all staff and carers are doing their upmost best for our relatives. Staff always friendly dad seems settled and the care provided seems great, regular updates and photos on social media page which are lovely to see.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for Beechville. I will share this with the staff team. We all know how hard it has been for relatives, as well as the residents, not to be able to see their loved ones, especially during the ‘lockdowns’. It’s been so wonderful to open up...

Communication with relatives is fantastic. The staff are caring and look after the residents very well. Relatives are kept informed about the events going on in the home. The home could do with another activities person to cover all 4 units, but overall an excellent service.

Thank you so much for your review. It means so much to us and I will of course share this with all the staff in the home. It really would be lovely to have more activity staff but we do what we can to make sure there is something on for the residents daily. We are also hoping that once we are...

My mum-in-law came into Beechville for a week so her husband could have some respite. During her stay, she was made to feel very welcome which enabled her to have a lovely stay and reassured her husband. The standard of care she received was excellent and we would certainly recommend Beechville to others and will use it again in the future. Many thanks to the staff.

Reply from Natalie Ward, Home Manager at Beechville

Thank you so much for your wonderful review of Beechville. We absolutely loved having your mother-in-law with us for her short respite stay. I know that both she and her husband found the break really beneficial and relaxing which was lovely to hear when she gave feedback in the home. If you ever need any respite care going forward don’t hesitate to give us a call.

Mum has been in Beechville Care Home for a year now. In that time, of course, we had limited visiting before Covid closed the home to visitors. However, I have been kept informed of any information from a lovely weekly newsletter. Also loads of pictures of Mum joining in activities which happen all the time. The staff are always pleasant when you ring up and I am more than satisfied with her care. Well done Beechville!

Reply from Kate Dorning, Deputy Home Manager at Beechville

Thank you for such a lovely comment, It is wonderful to see mum taking part in the so many activities within the home and especially the armchair exercises which I know is one of her favourite activities. I will pass your very kind comments onto all the staff here at Beechville. Take Care and stay safe.

Beechville has been home to my Aunty for over 10 years, and she really considers it to be her home. She is very happy and well looked after by all. I cannot speak highly enough of the care, compassion dedication and willingness of the staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble, often they go above and beyond their duty. It is obvious that for many working at Beechville, it is more than a job, it is a true vocation. They have become like an extended family to us, and knowing just how much they care about our loved ones makes this horrible pandemic just a bit easier to bear.

My heartfelt thanks to a wonderful team of volunteers, carers, seniors, managers, administrator, chefs, kitchen staff, handyman, activities- coordinators, music therapists, cleaners. I hope I haven’t missed anybody. You are all doing an amazing job!

My Mother has been resident here for some while and I cannot praise the staff highly enough. The level of care, compassion and understanding along with the willingness to engage us as a family is superb. They really know my mum and are quick to recognise when she needs help and respond. The atmosphere is friendly, fun, caring and they treat all with such dignity. Even through these difficult times, they continue to support us all. So thank you to all.

Beechville is a wonderful home for my sister who has dementia. It has been purpose-built and the facilities are superb. The staff are all very professional, loving, and kind and have been absolutely amazing in these difficult lockdown times. As soon as we first entered the home we knew our sister would be happy here. The management and staff are always happy and supportive. Well done.

Beechville closed to visitors due to Coronavirus. However, I am extremely satisfied with the care my Mum receives and the contact I have with the home.

Some of the questions below, therefore, must necessarily relate to pre-lockdown. Mum has lived there for over 2 years.

Our aunt was a resident at Beechville care home for 6 and a half years. She was always extremely well cared for and enjoyed living in the home. The staff are, without exception, wonderful. The activities coordinator is a human dynamo who ensures that all residents have entertainment and stimulating activities. The home is very clean and the food is very good. My aunt recently passed away and the end of life care was lovely. She was looked after tenderly and with caring compassion.
