Meals are freshly prepared by an experienced head chef who also trains other MHA cooks. Menus are shaped by resident input and include hearty favourites, afternoon teas, and fun events like Sandwich Week. Families can book the coffee bar for private gatherings.

Since the end of lockdown, there are more activities, outings and entertainment. Families can also be a part of that, which is lovely and the coffee shop is open more often again. I would definitely recommend Beechville Care Home.

As you state, in your comments, this was the second time mum stayed and we saw such an improvement In her health before being able to go back home. Communication with relatives is fantastic. The staff are caring and look after the residents very well. Relatives are kept informed about the events going on in the home. The home could do with another activities person to cover all 4 units, but overall an excellent service.

It’s been a truly difficult time for the staff and the residents in the home and we are all missing the relatives and friends that often visited. I also believe that the staff in this home all care so much for the residents they look after and we will continue to do so. My aunt has been in Beechville approximately 6 months. She has been well cared for and made to feel very comfortable in very difficult times. She has had Coronavirus and they have nursed her through it. She has now proved negative to the virus through their dedication, skills and care.

The activities coordinator is a human dynamo who ensures that all residents have entertainment and stimulating activities. The home is very clean and the food is very good. My aunt recently passed away and the end of life care was lovely. She was looked after tenderly and with caring compassion.
