Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Good food put on in the care home and trips arranged if residents want. Promotes independence but assistance always available. Always clean.

The Old vicarage offers a warm and welcoming environment to visitors and a true 'home' for residents. The quality of care provided is outstanding and the standard of the home is without comparison the best in Bolton. The team of carers really do care and go to great lengths to ensure each resident has individual attention and is treated with utmost respect and dignity.

I would not hesitate to recommend The Old Vicarage to anyone seeking a care home. The staff are all, without exception, friendly and welcoming and as helpful as they can be. The atmosphere within the home is warm and relaxed and the residents well cared for. It truly is a 'caring' care home.

The Old Vicarage provide my independent mother with exactly the right level of care and support. She likes to think she is independent but wants and needs looking after while still maintaining an element of solitude. Her care meets her needs perfectly. The staff are caring and professional and my difficult to please mum loves them. They make her feel like an independent individual while quietly attending to all her needs.

My mum has dementia and cannot praise the staff of the Old Vicarage highly enough in the care they give her and support they give to me. They are professional in all they do and say ans nothing is to much trouble. The environment is beautiful and always clean and tidy. It's like visiting mum at home and she is very settled and comfortable there. Thank you very much.

Thank you for the wonderful care you gave to my Mother in Law. She was very well looked after and happy at The Old Vic. We always felt very welcome and appreciated the time the staff gave to her. Even painting her nails, something she always enjoyed.
