My mum has been a resident for the last 4 years.
We were anxious about how Mum would settle after being so independent all her life. The staff here are amazing and so friendly and happy. As I live overseas I thought I would feel isolated about her care but they are never too busy to answer queries
and hook us up online for a chat. She is very happy here and I highly recommend.

We were all frightened about what it would mean for Mum to move into a care home. Would she feel abandoned and unloved, would she be cared for by strangers who just cared for a living?
All of which was unfounded. Within a few weeks of being admitted into Allendale Mum came to love and feel safe and
secure in her new home.
Nothing is too much trouble the staff go out of their way to make the residents feel at home and cared for. Meals are cooked to individual preferences whether it’s tiny weeny bite-sized sandwiches or a full homemade roast dinner.
Mum's last passage was a horrible drawn-out way to end your life. The staff, management and owners ensured that Mum was kept as comfortable as possible 24/7 in her home without the trauma of being moved into a hospital that would not have been capable of giving her the care and love she deserved and needed. Allendale is truly an exceptional care home.

Overall Allendale is a very well run care home. Consideration is given to all the residents and visitors in all matters relating to their welfare and well-being. It's a pleasant place for visit ones relatives residing there.
Management and staff are good, and at all times they relate to your questions
or be it your concerns. Love is caring and caring is love. Thank you.
