My uncle is so happy at Brownlow House and all the staff here are a credit to the care industry. They are like a large loving family who treat my uncle like a best friend, they have fun all day and the activities are amazing! All his care is handled with kindness and compassion. I couldn't believe how much they do regarding activities for the residents and I am on a family group chat! The photos I get absolutely make my day. My uncle is so happy! He is spotlessly clean and believe me, if he wasn't happy we would know. He is autistic, but he cannot hide anything from us as we grew up with him in our family home. If he wasn't happy we would know. The carers, cooks and all the staff are amazing as is the management. Nothing is too much trouble and the care side of things with chiropodists etc is great too. They have singers come in too and there is lots of gentle dancing with the residents which is lovely to see, plus lots of trips to the shops locally! My uncle loves it there!

Review from Jane F (Daughter of Resident) published on 26 April 2023 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My mum is fairly new to this lovely care home but she has settled in well. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and when I have visited have been very attentive to residents. Management and staff are always willing and happy to help in any way they can. Other professionals that are involved in my mum’s care said it is one of the best homes that they have visited and far outweighs other homes they have been involved with.

Great atmosphere. The care staff are excellent, hands-on and engaging with all the residents. One staff member, in particular, has them doing lots of activities. My mum especially enjoyed the floristry, making a lovely display, which she put pride of place in her bedroom. The management is very good at keeping us well informed and up to date on all matters. Brownlow House has a warm and friendly vibe.
