My mum has been in Avonleigh Gardens Care for over three years. I would like to thank the manager and all the staff for my mums care. The food is excellent and the home is welcoming and clean.

The staff are caring and even when my mum was a really high falls risk, the manager was very approachable and took measures to make sure my mum was kept safe. Thank you everyone at Avonleigh.

Mum has settled into Avonleigh Gardens a lot better than we ever thought would be possible. She is 93 years old and has always lived at home and we thought the transition to a care home would be very distressing for both Mum and the family, how wrong we were. The care she receives is excellent. She is always clean and dressed well, as she was at home. Her diet is maintained to a standard she received at home also. Her room is exactly as she would have it at home with pictures of her family all around her. We visit most days and are always greeted with a smile from the carers. All the staff without exception go above and beyond to make sure Mum is looked after and cared for meeting all her daily needs.

I would not hesitate to recommend this care home as in our opinion it is simply the best. From a very grateful family member.

I was recommended this home for my Nana by a friend whose relative had been very well cared for at Avonleigh Gardens.
My Nana moved in in January and settled in quickly, this was due to the warmth, compassion, care and patience she was receiving from the staff and how her room was. She was happy she had her own belongings in her room but happy with the layout and the beautiful gardens at the back.
The manager is very approachable and all the staff and management are dedicated and caring.
I have peace of mind knowing my Nana is safe and that she's not alone as there's people to talk to and things to do.
I'm glad we've found a home that meets my Nana's needs and I am extremely grateful for the care she receives, she says she is happy, knowing that makes me feel happy.
The Home is clean, has a good variety of meals, a hair salon, a reflexologist who visits a few times a week, religious services if residents want to attend and activities to do.

It's definitely been a positive experience.

This is a beautiful & well run care and nursing home. The manager plus all the staff even to maintenance are a credit to the home. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the care respect and dignity they give all the residents is second to none. Plenty of activities if residents want to partake inside and out in the secluded and safe garden or they can just stay in bed if they want!! Meals all freshly made with local produce by the home chefs and excellent quality. All rooms with en suite.

I would have no hesitation to recommend the home to family and friends. In fact a number of the new residence are as a direct recommendation from us as a family. They have a good knowledge and understanding of the residence needs and they are all treated as individuals. The management particularly handle any concerns with so much understanding and a professional manner. The staff are a credit to the home.
