I'm hoping to get involved with the upcoming fun day in August and hopefully can help to raise funding for activities etc .. Rachel the manager , and James are really approachable and they've definitely helped to put me at ease with the whole transition with Dad .
Thank you for your lovely review. We're delighted your dad has settled in so well, and it's lovely to hear how supported you've felt throughout the transition. We're glad Avonleigh Gardens feels like one big family. We look forward to seeing you at the fun day in August.

As the NOK of my uncle I needed to find a care home that would meet his needs. Avonleigh Gardens gave a good impression during 1st visit and has not let us down. The staff are kind and caring and have developed a great relationship with both the family and more importantly, my uncle, who loves them all.
Thank you for your lovely review. We're so pleased to hear that your uncle has settled in well and that our team has built such a wonderful relationship with both him and your family. Your kind words mean a great deal, and we'll be sure to share them with the team.
The staff here really care about me. They are kind and caring. My room is spacious and cleaned daily. The food is great, especially the snacks and cakes, all homemade.

I'm very happy and comfortable. I couldn't wish for any better. The carers are very good and all the staff and residents are friendly.
Thank you for your kind words. Its great to hear that you are happy at Avonleigh Gardens.
The care my grandma receives in Avonleigh is second to none. She is well looked after, cared for and loved. The food is all home cooked and they have helped her to gained weight whilst being in the home. You can tell the care staff all love each of their residents and help them to feel safe and at home. As a family member I am so pleased with the care she receives here and would recommend to anyone for a loved one
Thank you for your lovely review of Avonleigh Gardens. It's wonderful to hear that your Grandma is so happy with the care she receives from Rachel and the team.
My brother and I visit weekly. Mum always seems happy. The team provide good support to her. The facilities are good. The only matters I would raise are - Since her fall, there is too much equipment in her room, which could be a fall risk - Her hearing aids are always lost (3 pairs at least), no hearing affects dementia. They should treat hearing aids as meds. Controlled on and off with secure storage. Apart from that, all good.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're pleased to hear your mum is happy, well supported by the team, and that you're happy with the facilities. We also appreciate your constructive comments regarding the equipment in her room and the management of her hearing aids. Your...
My Father recently spent 2 weeks at Avonleigh following an accident involving major trauma and multiple surgical operations. His stay provided a bridge between the hospital and independent living, allowing him to recover and recuperate sufficiently to return home.
His room and the shared facilities were bright, clean and well maintained, the meals were varied and the team ensured his medical and dietary requirements were met at all times, both day and night.
My Father interacted with a broad cross section of the Avonleigh team, all of whom supported him and ensured that his needs, both medical and pastoral, were met throughout his stay.
During his stay I met with members from the management, day care and night care teams. Each one was professional, helpful and engaged in his ongoing care experience. They demonstrated a dedication to their field of work which provided me with confidence in the care facility.
A big thank you to the Avonleigh team for helping in my Father's recovery.
We will share your...
Wonderful, caring, thoughtful, dedicated staff, who always put the residents first. Thank you for taking care of Dad and being available to discuss his needs whenever we needed to. Thank you for spending valuable time with him when he just needed to chat.
Thank you for your kind words. We're so pleased your dad has felt well cared for and supported, and that our team has been there when he needed a chat. Your appreciation means a lot to everyone at Avonleigh Gardens.
We visited Avonleigh Gardens without an appointment and was shown around the different areas everyone we passed was polite. Right away we knew this was the place for mum, when mum was in Avonleigh we couldn't have asked by better care and support (even to ourselves the family). Every member of staff was polite caring introduced themselves on first meeting. Each one took price in what they did. The home is a credit to the management and all the staff.
Thank you for your lovely review. We're so pleased Avonleigh Gardens felt right for your mum and that you experienced such caring and welcoming support from the team.
They run a wide variety of activities each day, and they do a fantastic job encouraging all residents to join in, no matter their ability or mood. It's been wonderful to see my mum engaging more, smiling more, and becoming part of the community there.
The staff really deserve praise - they are patient, kind, and incredibly skilled. My mum can be quite challenging at times, especially during bath time, but the carers handle everything with such calmness and professionalism. They always manage to reassure her and help her feel at ease.
I genuinely can't thank them enough for the care and compassion they show. This home has made such a positive difference to my mum's life and to ours as a family.

Since my relative has been on respite at Avonleigh, we have noticed a massive difference in her mental well-being, personal hygiene and overall health. It is so nice to see the care that she is receiving. All of the staff make it feel so homely. No matter their job role, they all work together and go above and beyond. Fabulous care and a fabulous environment! Management have a lot of involvement with the residents and are always around to help - there is nothing they don't know which I find incredible - I would recommend Avonleigh Gardens to anybody.

As the daughter of a respite user i can only comment and review on the days my 93 year old mother was in there, I can't thank Rachel and James enough for their prompt and quick actions getting my mum in at such short notice so i could still go on my holiday, the staff were friendly and treated mum with dignity and meet her needs as she had just had a fall, knowing that she was being cared for 24/7 as family it gave us peace of mind, she had three full meals a day she said it was good, the room was a lovely size and very comfortable for her, so once again Rachel thank you for your efficiency and making sure mums needs were meet at this very difficult time.

All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming at Avonleigh. Lots of smiling faces every time I visit! My friend has settled really well and feels comfortable in his room and the communal areas of the home. He is very well cared for and is happy. They often have special events/days where family and friends are warmly welcomed in to spend time with their loved ones. It very much has a family feel about it.
