My mum moved from a home she was very unhappy in, to Avon Leigh Gardens. It's an amazing care home. The management was so helpful and professional with her move. She has a lovely big room and it can be personalised as she wants. The caring staff are hardworking and very respectful to residents and relatives. The home is beautifully kept in every aspect inside and out. We visit regularly and are always made welcome every member of staff has a very important role in my mum's care and they "all" carry out their roles with exceptional kindness and professionalism. Thank you so much.

My grandad is very well looked after at Avonleigh. We were very unsure about him having to go into a care home but the staff couldn't do enough to put our minds at rest and are so friendly when we visit.

My grandad stayed here on respite while my Nan had a holiday. We all as a family were amazed with the care and standards of the home. My Nan now feels like she can take time out and my grandad would be in good hands. Highest of thanks to all the staff you all do an amazing job and we definitely recommend it.

After Mum had a very bad experience in previous care, choosing Mum's forever home where she could be well supported with her advanced vascular dementia, was not an easy task. However, from the moment we walked into Avonleigh Gardens, we knew we need not worry. Mum was only there a short while, even so, all members of the team (whatever level) made it their business to make Mum comfortable, secure, and looked after with dignity. It was evident everyone truly cared and were doing a job they wanted to, rather than it being just a job. I cannot thank the team enough for everything they did for Mum, especially the last 48 hours of her life, where everyone made it their business to also look after me and our family and friends. Nothing was too much trouble. She passed in a calm, caring, and loving environment, for which I am eternally grateful. I would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone thinking of placing their family member in their trust, you will not be disappointed.

My friend has been living at Avonleigh for a number of years now, and I often come to visit her. The staff are a credit to the care profession as nothing is too much trouble for them, day or night, there is always a friendly, smiling face for whatever she needs. Keep doing what you all do so well for all your residents.

My mother has been in their care for about three years. During that time, she looked at Avonleigh as her home and the staff as friends. Unfortunately, Mum has just died, aged 99 years and 9 months. I cannot speak highly enough of the esteem I hold the staff of Avonleigh. She lived and died with dignity, with a friend next to her, in her own bed and in her own home.

The organisation of activities such as hairdresser in house resident parties for birthdays etc and entertainment are also very good.

My mum has been a resident of Avonleigh Gardens for the last 5 years. She has always been very happy here the staff are amazing always going above and beyond regardless of job title always being treated with the utmost respect. My mum also loves her food and she never has any complaints often commenting on the gorgeous cakes. I call in the home nearly every day and I'm always made to feel welcome and greeted with a smile. One day last week I called in and my mum was very anxious. She was sat with a member of management who had taken time out of her busy day just to sit and have a chat and reassure her. Nothing is too much trouble a this lovely home.

My grandmother has been a resident for years and has received excellent care at Avonleigh. The staff and manager take really good care of her and have a good understanding of her needs (she has dementia and can sometimes be difficult when she is confused).

Very professional thoughtful and caring staff. Was overwhelmed with the amount of caring and attention given to my family member. If I could give this care home ten stars I would. Also so much time given to visiting friends and family members. All questions and answers given. And followed up on. Absolutely the perfect care home for anyone wanting to find a home from home for their loved ones. Superb. Cannot recommend this home enough.

Mum had been a resident here for the past ten months, until sadly passing away quite recently. During her stay here we cannot praise and thank the staff enough for their endless care, dedication and friendship towards Mum (who loved a good gossip and a chat). Mum would be encouraged to take part in regular activities, and enjoyed sitting outside for a read. Staff had good communication as we were always kept informed of any issues regarding Mum's care. We visited regularly and were made welcome by all staff who always had time to talk to you. There are signs of dedicated teamwork throughout and a clear understanding of our older generation's needs. Mum's room was bright and comfortable, with a garden view, and regularly cleaned (along with the obligatory chat). We were encouraged to bring whatever was needed to make Mum's room her own. Meals were always a hit with Mum, with a fabulous selection of homemade meals and cakes. Mum would always speak highly of all the staff. Thank you.

I cannot begin to thank each and every one of the staff for the amazing welcome they have given to my mum and dad. The friendly and kind culture is a natural part of everyday life throughout the home. 2 members of staff conducted thorough person-centred assessments showing real compassion and interest in my parents' well-being, interests and family history. The rooms are spacious and modern with en-suite bathrooms including en-suite and wet rooms. The food is all cooked from fresh with plenty of choice. My mum has enjoyed the singing, the Church service and the quiz. A particularly talented care worker has built up a great relationship with my dad already and worked with him to improve his mobility. A member of staff in particular in the office is always really helpful and ensured a smooth admission and was happy to assist with the paperwork. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Myself and my sister have every confidence our parents will be safe, happy and cared for.

My mum has been a resident at Avonleigh Gardens for over 4 years. She has a lovely room which is cleaned on a daily basis. We were encouraged to bring some of mum's personal items into her room which she could relate to. Staff and management work great as a team and are very welcoming to all members of the family. Staff have treated my mum with love, respect and dignity and encourage her to be independent with her choices. They have great homemade food and cakes and a daily menu provided by great chefs. They keep us informed of mum's progress and do reviews on a regular basis. We as a family are more relaxed knowing mum gets great care provided and is in such a loving home. Thank you so much for the continued support and care from all the staff at Avonleigh Gardens it is very much appreciated.

I am extremely happy with the quality of care given to my mother. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The activities are well-facilitated and enjoyable. My Mum is treated with dignity and respect.

My mother lived at Avonleigh Gardens since early 2018, during her stay there I cannot praise all the staff enough. They are all loving, caring and wonderful individuals. The activities that the home provide are wonderful and stimulating from the ukulele lady to the various singers and musicians they have performing on a regular basis, the home also offers other art and crafts, and bingo, cooking activities. Mum has recently passed away and the care and compassion both she and the family received was exceptional and it made her final last days for myself a lot easier.

Recently my mother was in Avonleigh for respite care for a few weeks while we were on Holiday. She has been to Avonleigh on several occasions and has always been well cared for by the professional and friendly staff.

My father went to Avonleigh for 2 weeks respite care. He was well cared for and enjoyed a range of activities whilst he was there. The staff were professional, friendly and treated my father with respect. I would definitely use Avonleigh for future respite care.

My Dad has been in Avonleigh Gardens for over five years and is now in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's. He has always received the most attentive, personal care from all members of staff. The staff at Avonleigh Gardens can only be described as dedicated, professional people who work together like a family to look after all the residents. They really do deserve recognition for what they do on a daily basis. I can't thank them enough for what they have done for my Dad. An example of this dedication and personal care was noted by the Nursing staff at the hospital when a staff member accompanied my Dad for an outpatient hospital appointment. It was the most wonderful review which described how professional the staff member was in dealing with my father's dementia so the appointment could take place with ease. A true example of personal dedication to the role as a carer as the staff member came in on her day off to take my Dad there as I now live in London. Excellent. So well managed.
