Could not have chosen a better place for my neighbour. She has been delighted with her room from the first day. Staff go out of their way to be helpful and pleasant.
The home itself is very appealing with all the new decorating.
I always look on the board at meals for the day. They are varied and what most people would make for themselves at home.

Definitely a 'home from home'.

The first couple of weeks were a bit daunting for me in the care home and it took some time for me to adapt to being here.
However, I do enjoy living here now.

The staff are always pleasant and treat me with respect.

My mother is very happy at Dryclough Manor. The staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble.
There is always a happy atmosphere and lots of entertainment. I feel content leaving mum knowing she is safe, happy and venerated.

I would highly recommend it to anyone. The new conservatory is a great asset.

My mother said she is very happy living here and it feels like home, she is content and loves her room, she gets on extremely well with all members of staff, she said she wouldn't want to live anywhere else. The care and support she receives are excellent. Overall my mother appears very well and it is due to the excellent support mother receives.

The staff are very welcoming and approachable. They spend time with residents to get to know them better.
The entertainment for residents is regular and enjoyed by my mother.

The food appears good and residents are encouraged to socialise in the dining room.

Dad was reluctant about going into care. Choosing a home would prove to be difficult, however, we knew dad would be happy here the moment we stepped into the home. I was bright, spacious and more importantly, it was caring and homely. The managers and care staff went out of their way to ensure dad was settled in. The care he receives is second to none and dad has gained weight since coming into Dryclough Manor and said: "he wishes he had done it sooner".

My husband went in for respite care following an operation. He said all the staff treated well and he was well cared for.
The food looked wonderful and we enjoyed a meal together.

My husbands bedroom was nicely decorated to how he wanted it.

I'm impressed with the care and attitude that all the staff (from cleaners to top position) show to my relative and all of the residents. It is a genuine place with no hidden agendas. Whenever we appear for a visit they know exactly where my mother-in-law is and what she has been doing that day. A very good care home.

Mum has settled into the home extremely well. She has been joining in with all activities and has made a few good friends. When I leave after visiting I know she is in good hands as all care staff are friendly and I feel I can approach them all with any questions.

I was very worried about putting my brother-in-law in a home and he was adamant he was only staying for a few weeks. But he had only been in 2 days and he told me he was not going back home. On the Tuesday he has a massive coronary, stopped breathing and was gone but the staff started CPR and continued until the paramedics arrived and still carried on. He is now back from Manchester Hospital with a balloon in his artery. They saved his life.

All the staff wonderful. The food is superb. He looks so well and happy. I can't praise them enough. I think they should get some kind of award.

Mum was very apprehensive about taking a step into residential care. I took her to have a look around prior to making any decisions. The home was clean, inviting and staff were very welcoming as were many of the other residents. My mum says she feels safe and well cared for. She enjoys the daily activities and loves the food. She looks happy, the first time for a long time and I am able to rebuild my life knowing she is getting the best possible care.
