I cannot express my gratitude enough for all that Oakland Care Home have done, not just for my nan, but us as a family as well. Nothing is to much trouble and all staff are amazing. Above all else, my nan is happy, safe and very well looked after. We couldn't ask for anything more.

Although my wife has been in Oakland for only three weeks, I have found that the care for her has been excellent. My wife needed full time care as it was only me that was looking after her as my daughter lives with her family in Canada. Oakland has reduced my anxiety and given my life back because the way the staff deal with dementia residents is excellent and has given my wife the chance to enjoy life again. Its a wonderful care home with very good facilities and often activities are designed specifically for dementia patients. Her room is spacious and is being decorated in a colour which my wife has chosen - a very nice touch to make her feel secure and welcome. Management at Oakland is excellent and they have gone above and beyond to accommodate my wife. It is a safe and secure place where staff are helpful, caring and are always around to attend to my wife's needs. My wife appears to be happily settled in Oakland, and that is all that a loving relative can hope for. Thank you

My friend is under care at Oaklands, and I honestly couldn't be happier with how well they're looked after. The staff are so kind, patient, and caring, they really go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
The home has such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and is always clean and well kept. My friend has settled in so well and always speaks highly of the team and the activities they do.

I'm really grateful for the care and attention they give every day.

I recently had a friend go into Oaklands as an emergency placement. He was struggling to manage at home with his confused state and loss of dignity . Oaklands were very supportive and treated my friend with upmost respect , kindness and compassion. Since he has been in the home staff have continued to do so. The environment is lovely and the staff are very helpful. The home manager has been a great help and support

We were unsure and worried about our mum going into care , but it was clear that she was not safe to be left at home on her own after our dad had died .

The support and reassurance we have had from the staff has been amazing .

Mum is eating and taking interest in others around her

I haven't had a moments concern since we took her in there 10days ago .

Thank you all for looking after her when she couldn't do it herself

I can't fault this place at all, especially not the loving carers which work here.
Nothing is too much to ask for.

My parents are being looked after so well and much more than that there are people which love doing their work and share there kindness and love to make each day a pleasure for the people that live here. Fantastic! It's the second time I have been here because I live in a different country but it is perfect!

Overall very satisfied with the care my mum is receiving, care is compassionate, dignified and reactive to her health needs.
The senior manager and unit manager are superb.
A minor incident involving a new carer that caused concern was immediately addressed.

The home adheres to policies and procedures and relatives' inclusion. Thank you sincerely to the senior manager and all the staff.
