The care is excellent from all the staff. The home is warm and comfortable and they are taking great care of my husband. I would recommend Oakland to everyone.
The care that has been provided to my Nan has been exceptional, the staff have provided her with a happy & safe place to live & she is very happy here.
I cannot express my gratitude enough for all that Oakland Care Home have done, not just for my nan, but us as a family as well. Nothing is to much trouble and all staff are amazing. Above all else, my nan is happy, safe and very well looked after. We couldn't ask for anything more.
Although my wife has been in Oakland for only three weeks, I have found that the care for her has been excellent. My wife needed full time care as it was only me that was looking after her as my daughter lives with her family in Canada. Oakland has reduced my anxiety and given my life back because the way the staff deal with dementia residents is excellent and has given my wife the chance to enjoy life again. Its a wonderful care home with very good facilities and often activities are designed specifically for dementia patients. Her room is spacious and is being decorated in a colour which my wife has chosen - a very nice touch to make her feel secure and welcome. Management at Oakland is excellent and they have gone above and beyond to accommodate my wife. It is a safe and secure place where staff are helpful, caring and are always around to attend to my wife's needs. My wife appears to be happily settled in Oakland, and that is all that a loving relative can hope for. Thank you
The home has such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and is always clean and well kept. My friend has settled in so well and always speaks highly of the team and the activities they do.
I'm really grateful for the care and attention they give every day.
I recently had a friend go into Oaklands as an emergency placement. He was struggling to manage at home with his confused state and loss of dignity . Oaklands were very supportive and treated my friend with upmost respect , kindness and compassion. Since he has been in the home staff have continued to do so. The environment is lovely and the staff are very helpful. The home manager has been a great help and support
The support and reassurance we have had from the staff has been amazing .
Mum is eating and taking interest in others around herI haven't had a moments concern since we took her in there 10days ago .
Thank you all for looking after her when she couldn't do it herself
I visit on a weekly basis to bring holy communion to the catholic residents. The staff are always helpful to me and caring. All residents are well cared for and supported.
Nothing is too much to ask for.
My parents are being looked after so well and much more than that there are people which love doing their work and share there kindness and love to make each day a pleasure for the people that live here. Fantastic! It's the second time I have been here because I live in a different country but it is perfect!
I visited my friend numerous times at Oakland, I always saw how well the whole team worked together and fussed over us the whole time. Such friendly staff. Management always very gracious and helpful to any queries we had. Clean, great food, great company. Great job guys.
The senior manager and unit manager are superb.
A minor incident involving a new carer that caused concern was immediately addressed.
The home adheres to policies and procedures and relatives' inclusion. Thank you sincerely to the senior manager and all the staff.
The home is lovely and clean and my mum and dad are well fed and well looked after at all times.
My mum was a resident at Oakland until she sadly passed. I cannot praise highly enough the staff and the care my mum received. They also looked after me and other relatives. Lovely lovely. I know my mum was happy there.
All staff are happy and friendly. Oaklands is very clean. Everybody talks to visitors and residents. Activities are good.
Mum has been extremely well looked after and cared for with kindness for six years here now. We are so thankful for the love and care everyone provides. Thank you so much!
The staff are very friendly, caring and give 100% to my friend and her pals, making sure she's ok.
Oakland have an amazing team of people working there. Everyone is so kind and they really care about my mum. But, in addition, they also give me so much support which is greatly appreciated.
I would like to say how brilliant and caring the staff are at Oakland Care Home. I would highly recommend it to everyone they went above and beyond. They looked after my friend's mother she loved being in there they’re all brilliant.
They really looked after all our family and we are a large family.
Thank you so much for everything you did for Mum and us as a family.
Best care home, I know.
Thank you from all of us.
I highly recommend Oakland Care Home, the staff and management have been absolutely phenomenal. They have gone above and beyond to provide the best care to my grandma and I really can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for our family. Excellent food, facilities, activities and the rooms are fantastic. The support the staff have given us as a family, we will be forever grateful.
