Overall Experience
My mother moved into Beechfield Lodge in October 2016 and we have been delighted with the expert care and consideration offered by the cheerful staff.
The manager inspires conscientious dedication and we have been impressed by the excellent medical attention, cleanliness, interesting social activities and delicious, well-balanced, home-cooked meals.

We are highly satisfied and confident, that my mother is in the safest of environments and would highly recommend Beechfield Lodge.

I can only praise all the staff who are so caring, compassionate and kind to my husband and also my mother (she died December 2016). My husband is very settled and happy in Beechfield which despite wishing he was home with me, I know that he is being cared for and loved by everyone. This is very comforting to me.

Thank you to everyone for making the final stages of my husband's life a good one for him. The only thing I would pick up on is that I am providing extra food each day to boost his calorie intake and this I feel should be met by the home.

I have always been very pleased by the care mum has been given. This home in my opinion has a very high standard and because of this I would recommend it to anyone. I have recently mentioned such to a friend of mine and now she has a relative living in Beechfield Lodge settled and happy.

Overall Experience
My wife spent 2 months reviewing every care provider for our Mum's complex need after strokes and heart attacks in 2013 abruptly stole her independence and mobility.
Having visited those on short list, there was only one we would trust with her care.
Nothing has changed a total belief our family made the best possible choice with Beechfield Lodge for Mum
The building is as close to home as she can get.
The staff, both personal care and management is as good as it gets when you can't do it yourself.
This really is a credit to the caring profession.

Thank you on Mum's behalf.

Making the hard decision that your parent would be best places with a 24/7 care environment is something most never wanted to do. However choosing Beechfield has proven to be one of the best decisions we could have made. Mum has mixed dementia and has been here since October. She is now very settled and the most relaxed and un-anxious I have seen her in a long while. The staff are all great. They have a caring nature and understand the needs of those residents with dementia and how to work with them. They have regular meal and break times, regular activities. Mum has her hair done every other week at the hairdressers. Her flatlet is kept clean and tidy as is her laundry. She is helped with her personal needs & kept clean, tidy & dressed nicely. She has a key worker who gets to know her well and all the carers and team leaders get to know and interact with the residents (and family members) in a family friendly way. I am relieved to know that when I come away my mum is safe & happy.
