Our son has been a resident at House Martins Care Ltd. for over twenty-five years.
Our son is profoundly deaf and has autistic traits. We and our son have always had the support of carers and management, for the few problems we have had.
His activities include swimming - football - snooker - zumba
- gym, and are taken on
holiday numerous times. Residents are treated as individuals as they are given a
choice of holidays. Our son comes home every other weekend, they bring him to our house, and we take him back.

The setting is a home from home! It is a homely, welcoming environment in which friends and relatives are made to feel at home when spending time with their loved one.
Staff are friendly, compassionate and caring, going above and beyond for the people in their care. My niece was at her happiest when
living life to the full, thanks to the amazing staff. She was encouraged to explore and enjoy many activities during the years she spent there. She danced, swam and attended youth clubs to name but a few of the activities that filled her days.
During the most difficult of times, our family was supported in the most caring way. Nothing was too much trouble and staff were always available and happy to help, whatever the request.
We cannot praise them enough.

My daughter had the best care anyone could ask for. All the staff and management team were amazing and my daughter was very happy in the years she spent there, it was like a family. There were activities, regular trips out and holidays The staff went above and beyond caring for the residents which was
plain to see. Even when the time came for my daughter to go to a hospice a member of staff stayed with her every day to ensure she was happy and all her needs were met.
The staff were also very supportive and caring with myself and the rest of my family throughout the time she spent there.
I would highly recommend the home to anyone looking for exceptional care for a loved one.
