The activities and well-being coordinator is warm and friendly with all residents.
My son and I were also included in the cheese and wine tasting.

Overall Experience
Mum has been at Worsley Lodge for almost six months.
The staff have been very supportive and welcoming.
The family have seen a positive effect on my mum's health and wellbeing.
She is happy, content and less anxious and more confident.
Mum enjoys the varied activities and outings arranged by the entertainment manager, has been taken to the zoo, Southport, dancing, barge trips. This is just what she needs and is of prime importance for her to keep active.
On her birthday in September, they booked a singer as mum loves to dance and sing.
The staff have been very supportive and welcoming.

My first three months experience; Very helpful but often short staffed. Rooms adequately decorated and attractive, suitable for ages of most with disabilities or permanent issues.

Since my father-in-law has been in the home there hasn't been much wrong but the one thing there isn't enough staff on duty to give their full care for many residents they have to care for.

Having a disabled visitor to this care home and never ever being able to use the disabled parking facility due to staff using them with no disabled badge displayed is very annoying. For a care home to allow this to happen is unbelievably frustrating. The parking is totally inadequate.
