Worsley Lodge Care Home

Thank you to the entire team for the kindness, patience, and professionalism you show every day. You truly make a difference and you have done to my mum - she loves it there and knows all the staff by name.

My nephew has been in Worsley Lodge for one year. He is so very happy, and it's a pleasure to hear him talk about Worsley Lodge. He loves the food, the entertainment and takes part in the activities. The staff are very kind to him, he says. He has been in three care homes, and this is definitely the best.

All the staff are very pleasant helpful and polite. Always willing to look for anything you need or have missplaced.

First of all I had a very bad experience with a care home with my mum, so when my dad needed to go into a home I was very cautious. I did all my research went and visited multiple homes, Worsley Lodge came out the best. I was still very worried when my dad went in there, on the first day in there sorting out paperwork with the admin lady I burst into tears she was fantastic and really reassured me that my dad would be looked after. The place is very clean the food is fantastic they eat better than I do. The staff are fantastic. What I liked best about this home is you could call or visit at any time, and if there was something wrong they would phone you immediately. They have a fantastic garden with a bar in it in which made me laugh they really look after the residents. Unfortunately my dad didn't last long in here to due bad health and went to end of life care in here, and again all the staff were amazing really looked after him.

Trip to Blackpool absolutely fab trip for all concerned, driver very thoughtful could not do enough for all of the people.

I was apprehensive about my husband having to go into care but I needn't have worried. When I visit it is like coming home- he has settled so well and the carers are exceptional. His medical needs are well looked after than he is always cheerful and content. I always go around the people in the lounge and have a chat to them, it is like one big happy family. All in all an excellent place to be.

My father came here in November 24 and he has been very settled and welcomed by staff and residents. All his needs are met and he is very well looked after. He takes part in exercises and activities and goes out on day trips in the minibus. The garden is a lovely well tended, peaceful place to sit and read there is plenty of shade and my father likes to hear the birds and watch the squirrels.

Mum has been a resident for around 18 months now and has settled in. She is always looked after by the staff and really benefits from being in the lounge with the other residents. Security ensures that residents cannot wander off their floor or out of the home by themselves, but Mum would like her door to be locked while she is out. There are regular activities and also day trips out.

My mum has been at Worsley Lodge for over 2 years. She settled in well. All the staff are approachable and always listen to you. I highly recommend HC-One to anyone who is looking for a care home. :)

On the whole, the staff are good and friendly. The home is clean. The entertainer manager works very hard.

Early days for our review, my mother-in-law has recently moved in, she is settling in at the moment. I find staff to be friendly and caring. Any questions I have raised have been answered thoroughly.

My mum has been here for a few weeks and I know she is safe here. She loves the outings and entertainment. The food always has great reviews and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Mum has been in your care for the past 2 weeks and I was so anxious about the move but you have all been brilliant with her and even managed to get her to go out with you twice! The care home is lovely and clean and the staff are friendly and approachable and happy to answer any of your questions. I think mum is going to be happy here.

I am happy with the care my mum has been receiving. She has only been here a few months and her dementia is becoming much worse. I appreciate the staff who goes out of her way to do things for my mum or involves her in outings. I would like to request more 1 to 1 time for my mum and encouragement to get her up. The only criticism is that sometimes her floor and tables are quite dirty.

Came to visit Mum. Everything is good. She seems settled. Staff are easy to talk to and helpful.

My mum moved to the home in June 2024. It was a big change for her and everything was great. She was made very welcome by staff and residents. She is happy and settled. The garden is beautiful. They have a friendly cat called Felix who the residents adore. I am really pleased and my mum is happy.

So happy my mum settled in very well, all staff make you so welcome. Always available for a chat and treat you like one of their own, the home itself is also very welcoming.
