My mother-in-law has been a resident at Worsley Lodge for over 2 years now. She is well cared for and is happy with both her care and numerous activities. The staff are friendly and attentive. The refurbishment has made a huge difference to the surroundings and atmosphere in the home.
Staff are very cheerful they take very good care of my husband. We can come and go as often as we like. The home is always clean.
The staff are very caring, understanding and reactive to my mum's needs. She has needed to see a doctor due to her chest and water infection. The staff recognised she was unwell and dealt with things professionally and quickly. I have confidence in them and their knowledge knowing my mum is safe and well cared for is everything.
Dad came to Worsley Lodge for 9 days respite as family members who care for him were on holiday. Dad was a little wary of staying here as he had visited a friend here and had memories of small rooms and unpleasant odours. The opposite is very much the case now. Staff were welcoming and attentive, rooms bright and airy, meals varied and tea and biscuits/cakes very much appreciated. Most importantly, Dad felt safe and cared for here. He (and we) will be sad to leave.
I am very pleased with the Worsley Care Home and have no complaints what so ever. Thank you.
My mum has resided at Worsley Lodge for over 2 years now and has thrived in a caring environment. The staff have treated my mum with care, friendliness and dignity. The home is kept clean and very rarely do you smell a bad odour which is probably unavoidable at times. Sometimes I think the regular staff are "pulled out" but I know they are doing there best to care for my mum. Worsley Lodge has just had a refurbishment and everywhere is looking lovely.
I feel happy with the home.
A lot of upgrade to home recently. Lots of nice, bright warm colours everywhere. Clean and fresh looking home with no unpleasant odours. Staff always friendly and helpful. My mother's room is spotless and a good choice of food which is all freshly cooked and smells lovely when we visit.
The food is excellent and all made on the premises. Bedrooms are a little tired but to be fair these are all being refurbished in the future.
As a family, we are all feeling very blessed that our lovely mum is in a perfect place thanks to all the wonderful staff.
People have been great when we asked if our parents could be accommodated together. Thanks for that!
The staff are very helpful and try to help as much as they can considering how busy they are.
Thank you for your very kind comments. Regarding the staffing levels we do check the dependency levels of our residents on a regular basis and adjust the staffing levels accordingly. If our occupancy levels fall then we do flex our staff to reflect this.
Everything OK.
Staff very helpful, any problems are quickly dealt with. Staff are very courteous and professional. I feel my mum is getting the best possible care she deserves.
Very satisfied with all aspects of the home, the standard, care and support and all the staff.
Mum been in since May 2016, mum settled well although her latest stroke has left her blind. Asked staff to encourage mum to sit in a recliner chair as she keeps refusing although her back hurts and it's clear they are trying their best. They also encourage her to join in all the activities which helps her mix with other residents. Families are always made welcome and there are always other fancy members for support. Mum's bedroom is small but always clean and tidy and has a nice feel.
All the staff at Worsley Lodge Care Home are just so lovely, they are always kind, considerate and happy. They look after my auntie so well. It doesn't matter what time of day or night that we visit we are always welcomed and she looks so clean and well cared for. Her room is always spotless and smells beautiful. She has her hair done each week and her nails painted and even though she is 96 years of age and has limited mobility she is taken on trips and meals. Thank you all so much from the manager, all staff and housekeeper.
My brother has been at Worsley Lodge since Feb 2014. The family are all very pleased with the care he has received during his stay. We feel we are very fortunate he is being cared for in such a compassionate and dignified way. We are very grateful to the staff and everyone who looks after my brother.
Mother has been a resident for twenty months, she is well looked after. The carers are very caring, considerate discrete when needed.
Staff very caring, interested, open, keen to have family involvement, welcoming. Deal well with any issues and problems, listen and act on issues that arise. I.e. clothing, falls - keen to have input and resolve problems - just as in any family - understanding and dignity are key to providing a homely environment.
Lovely clean care home. Staff very good somebody always on hand if you need help. Excellent meals always a choice from two different menus.
I visit my cousin twice a week. The staff i find are efficient, friendly and very caring towards the residents and visitors. The home has singers entertaining the residents and visitors, lots of singing and dancing which is fun. My cousin has settled in well and he is comfortable. I feel he is well looked after and we can't ask for any more than that.
