Overall Experience

My mum was visiting the day centre as she does regularly. On this particular day, I was picking her up about 2ish so I could take her home then pick my children up from school. As I arrived they had entertainment on when I arrived and I knew I was going to have difficulty taking mum away as she loves music so I knew I'd be a party pooper. As predicted mum was adamant she wasn't leaving and I became distressed as time went on and I was on a time scale. The ladies working there that day were so helpful at first she wouldn't leave for them either one of the ladies went to ask if she could stay the night which by then had become an option. One of the ladies was still talking to her then all of a sudden she said she would come if she could come again. I was so grateful for their help, support and understanding of my situation and obviously, I am happy with the care that my mum receives here. Thank you.

This home is a wonderful place for a family member to be. All the staff are always really approachable, very friendly and have a lovely caring attitude, they are always giving hugs to residents.

Nothing is too much trouble and it shows with the calm feeling within the building. Good food and if there are any problems or dietary needs, they are catered for immediately. It is nice to see a manager that is also willing to he involved with the residents. Nothing is a problem, always approachable and always had time to speak to you.

My mother has lived at this care home for two and three quarter years. She has Alzheimers Disease and needs help with everything. No longer recognises anyone and cannot talk but does sing a lot of the time (la la not words). The staff at the home have been lovely with her. She is always clean and gets lots of hugs from the carers. When she unfortunately fell off her chair and banged her head recently. I was told by the ambulance man that Lisburne Court was definitely one of the better homes in the area. The home is always welcoming to family members and has a lovely open environment with compassionate and friendly staff.
