The manager, assistant manager and senior staff do an excellent job to ensure my relative is treated with respect, care and compassion and are always available to help with advice, support and reassurance. The vast majority of carers know my relative by name and have taken the time to understand him
as his illness progresses. His room is spotless, and he really enjoys the food provided. The range of activities provided by the activities coordinated are excekkebt and varied. The efforts made by all the team at Christmas were exemplary.

My mother is very dependent so the carers have to assist her with all care. She is always clean, comfortable and well cared for Her nutritional needs are fully met and she has now started to put on weight. The staff are happy and well managed and there is very little turnover. They are kind and caring
and treat residents with dignity. The home is well managed and the manager and staff are approachable. The entertainment and activities offered are outstanding. Very happy my mother is in here.

My mum has been in Lisburne Court for five and a half years! Since day one in May 2020, start of covid, she found it easy to adjust. The staff have been very supportive and caring, and nothing is too much trouble! Food is very tasty! Mums room is spacious, clean and practical. Any problems and the staff/
management are happy to help.
Activities are amazing and varied and aimed for all abilities. The facilitator at Lisburne, Laura, is fantastic!

My dad has been a resident at Lisburne Court now for over 4 years. During this time he has had nothing but the best care from all the team, who clearly care deeply for all the residents. He is treated with respect and dignity, and nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff here. There are amazing
activities on daily, a variety of meals, snacks, hairdressers, and a pub, everything that could be needed.
Honestly, im so glad dad is here, where I know he is safe and cared for, respected, and loved. Thank you to the whole team!

My wife passed away in Hospital November 2024 having been a resident at Lisburne Court
for almost 5 years and I have nothing but praise for how they looked after her during this period. The home is so well-managed and the staff and carers at all levels were really friendly, professional, compassionate
and dedicated. Throughout my wife's time there I was always made welcome and kept well-informed about her health and wellbeing and news about forthcoming activities or changes at the home. This would be by face-to-face contact and monthly resident's meetings and newsletters. Once my wife settled down after being
admitted she was happy and always had a smile for staff, carers and myself and family. This gave me great peace of mind knowing she was happy and being well looked after. Every week there were some great activities and quality entertainment, often with participation by the carers and relatives. Much more I could mention but suffice it to say thank you Lisburne Court, you are amazing.

I am very happy with both the quality of care and the facilities at Lisburne Court. The staff are well-trained and look after my mum with kindness and care. The food is of a good standard and the bedrooms and day rooms are kept very clean and tidy. My mum particularly enjoys the varied programme of
trips and activities, which are excellent. The management and staff always have time to spare to talk to relatives as well, which I find very helpful.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.878)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.878) out of 10 for Lisburne Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 48 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 47 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.878 for Lisburne Court is calculated as follows: ( (522 Excellents x 5) + (40 Goods x 4) + (9 Satisfactorys x 3) + (3 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 574 Ratings = 4.878
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Lisburne Court is based on 47 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 48 registered maximum number of service users is 9.6, which has been reached with 47 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
