I would like to praise the staff and management who went above and beyond in their care for my wife, who had a fall and had to go to the hospital for the day and was bedridden for three weeks at the home and was treated with professional care and concern. My wife is now recovering quickly due to the
total commitment of the competent and experienced staff. I cannot thank them enough.

My grandmother has been here since before Christmas, and her dementia has sadly taken a firm hold. I managed to tour the facility and the parts, activities and other residents I have seen and met; this has proved to be a phenomenal care home.
We all worry as to what to expect when we hear about care
homes, and I had my own reservations, as in my mindset, I thought of it as the end of the line or overall a depressing place. This is not so with Lisburne Court! They regularly have activities on, especially for the major calendar dates, coronations, Christmas, Valentine's Day, individual resident birthdays etc.
The family here can agree we have seen positive mood changes with my gran too! So thank you, Lisburne Court, keep up the brilliant work, and thank you for setting my mind at ease as to the care and attention you give to all of your residents with my grandmother included!

Well run home, the management and the staff are both caring and professional. The facilities are up to date and kept clean, the meals look very appetizing. The home has a very varied activities schedule, something to interest virtually everyone.

My dad has been at Lisburne Court for just a month. The staff have been amazing from the minute he arrived. Although my dad has his down days he is so much happier now he is here. It was really difficult for us to make the decision for my dad to come into care as a family. It's been such a big change
for him, but we are glad he is here with such genuine people who care, we can relax knowing he is in safe hands.

My mother-in-law is very happy and settled at Lisburne Court due to the caring staff going above and beyond in seeing to her individual needs and keeping her safe and enriched as much as possible. Management are hands-on and very approachable, very invested in care. Activities coordinated create lots
of varied entertainment. It's such a relief to see my mother-in-law having a more fulfilled life with such a difficult condition. Could not get better care. Thank you.

It's never easy rehoming your mum into a care home. Lisburne Court have supported her throughout the process, giving her time and space to adjust and reassuring her that it's her home. Now when I visit she is much more settled which is such a relief. I can't think of anywhere else I'd like her to be.

Mum has been a resident in her care home for a year now. Although visiting has been somewhat restricted due to covid when we have seen mum she appears to be well looked after by all the staff. We are very impressed by daily activities undertaken and also special days (e.g Valentines) and festivities
all of which are celebrated. We are sent emails and photos these are always nice to see. Every aspect of mum's care e.g GP visits are always relayed to me which is reassuring. So this first year I would say - great job and thank you.

I always find that my partner has been well cared for when I visit. If the staff have any concerns about my partner's health we as a family are always notified of any action taken. We are always made to feel welcome on our request visits and we know that our loved one is in the best possible place for
her situation. Thank you.

My mother-in-law always looks clean and tidy, she's well fed. The carers can't do enough to help her and help us if we need it. She's been at Lisburn for two years and I've never had a complaint yet. Obviously, we have not been going into the bedrooms because of covid. So I'm not sure what clothes etc
she needs. We can check when we are allowed back in.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.878)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.878) out of 10 for Lisburne Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 48 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 47 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.878 for Lisburne Court is calculated as follows: ( (522 Excellents x 5) + (40 Goods x 4) + (9 Satisfactorys x 3) + (3 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 574 Ratings = 4.878
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Lisburne Court is based on 47 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 48 registered maximum number of service users is 9.6, which has been reached with 47 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
