Lisburne Court is a specialist dementia care home, providing convenient up and down living spaces, with kitchens, dining rooms and bright and spacious lounges available on the ground and first floor, so that less mobile residents can enjoy home comforts without negotiating stairs or lifts.

A varied activities programme, organised by a dedicated activity and lifestyle facilitators, means there is much to enjoy and get involved in.

Mom has been in Lisburne Court for over a year now (just before covid) some of the questions we can't rate all areas as we have not been allowed in rooms etc.
The manager is very sensitive to requirements. Her communication is excellent and always answers phone calls with reassurance. The ALF is excellent
with her activities and communication. The carers always greet us with a smile and contact us with any concerns.

Since my mum joined Lisburne in January she has blossomed. She enjoys her time here, taking part in activities and listening to music. She has had brilliant care with all staff knowing her needs and making sure she is well. On Zoom meetings and others it is apparent that they have taken their time to
understand her in needs and in temperament.

I ring the care home every day between 12 - 12:30 hours to see how my wife is. The staff are always polite and helpful on the phone.
I am satisfied that the standard of care is very good and that my wife is very well treated.

Please note that because of the COVID-19 lockdown, I have not been able to visit my wife for some months until a socially-distanced outdoor meeting was arranged last week, and I was pleased to see my wife looking well, and well cared for. The staff all appear to be caring people as opposed to just being
carer, and, in my opinion, that is most important.

This is the second time we have had to use a care home and have been very pleased to see the improvement of care homes over the last one we had to use for my father, some twelve years or more ago. My auntie seems very happy and contented in the home, it's clean and friendly, the staff are always there to help you if you need to talk to them. I'm very pleased with her care and would recommend it to anybody. Lisburne Court is a very nice and well-kept home.

Wonderful kindness and attention given to my aunt over nearly 5 years.


Every member of staff has shown the highest professionalism.
The dignity of residents is paramount to staff. The environment in the home has shown steady improvement every year. It is very clean and there are zero bad smells.

I have been a resident at Lisburne Court for nearly 5 years. The kindness and willingness shown by the staff has been enormous. The facilities are first class and constantly improving. End of life care is better than a nursing home could ever be.

Hayley Weston

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2019

Hayley has worked with Borough Care for over 25 years, beginning her career in 1999, and has been the Home Manager for Lisburne Court since August 2019.


Hayley enjoys working in care because she wants to make a real difference and ensure our residents have everything they want and need, and says her team is special because they are a fantastic bunch of people; ‘They all go above and beyond from doing hair, joining in the activities and ensuring our residents are well looked after.’


Her favourite thing about the residents is that no one is the same. She said, ‘All our residents are individuals and all have unique qualities. They are fantastic. Lisburne Court is a busy home with lots of activities going on.’
