My dad moved to Meadway a few months ago. He has required a lot of support in terms of the adjustment and his progression of dementia, and the staff at Meadway have been really pro-active and professional with this, working with secondary care teams to support him as needed. This has not been an easy process and the staff have been really committed to helping him. He is now starting to be much more settled, and appears much happier. Staff are very friendly, kind, and compassionate. He enjoys the food and the sessions where singers come in. I am really glad we chose Meadway for him.

We know that moving into a care home and adjusting to the progression of dementia can be a difficult journey, so we're delighted that your dad is now feeling happier and more settled. My Mother is a resident of Meadway Borough Care Home in Bramhall. As a family we are all very pleased with the care my Mother receives. As my Mother has dementia the disease can make her difficult and the staff are amazing at dealing with her moods. We think the staff deserve recognition for the way they handle Mum who I have seen been rude and uncooperative with staff members when they are only trying to help her with her personal care.
The home is kept very clean and beautifully decorated around the certain times of the year for example Valentines day, Halloween, VE day, Christmas ect.

The home provides activities for the residents and actively encourages them to join in for example Mum enjoyed making a pizza the other afternoon. The staff also take the residents out to certain events. The home also holds a resident meeting every month where it can be helpful to meet other residents family members so that we can share stories about this awful condition.

When my sister first moved to Meadway Court I was worried she wouldn't settle, it was all new for her but the staff were very kind and helpful and reassured me. She loves it now and it's so good to see her happy and well cared for, she's even had a day out! Well done to all the staff.

My husband has been at Meadway for almost three years. During that time, I cannot fault the care that has been provided. Many of the staff have been there in all that time which is, in itself, testament to the environment. Positivity and genuine kindness and understanding by the staff, of each resident and to each other, is a real strength of the home. Our daughters and I feel very comfortable visiting at any time of the day and always made to feel welcome. Staff know Richard well and know how to get the best out of him despite his Alzheimer's.

Staff are generally visible, friendly and caring. Communication with staff is generally good, positive, clear and visible. Some staff less so. Where this is the case communication with residents and visitors can be difficult. Some staff are brilliant and proactive and genuinely interested in delivering a person centred service, some less so, but I think that's the case in many care homes. Mum appears to be happy, safe and well. She regularly takes part in activities and is kept occupied. Her room is compact but functional and clean and tidy. Her room is personal to her with photos on the walls etc. The food is made fresh on-site and does the job. Mum is pampered and has her nails, hair and feet done regularly. She feels looked after and pampered. Meadway is in a great central location in the village centre. The main thing is mum is happy, safe and well which makes me happy.

My sister, Margaret, entered the care home around 4 weeks ago. During the times we have visited her we have been so impressed with the friendliness, flexibility, empathy, kindness and dedication of all members of staff and management. What an impressive team. Margaret has been diagnosed with dementia for several years now. Her hubby, Ken has done a fantastic job of caring for her in their homes in Bramhall and Portugal but it had become clear this last while that she now needed professional care for both her mental & physical needs. We look to have come up trumps, big time at Meadway Court.

I have not seen my big sister so relaxed and contented in quite a few years. She clearly faces mental challenges but our fears that she might become anxious upon entering the home have been totally groundless. The opposite is true. I huge thank you to The Meadway Court team from all the family. CHAPEAU!

My husband has POA for our friend who is a resident at Meadway Court. We have been very impressed with the level and quality of care received by our friend who is very happy and contented to be living there.
On the rare occasions when we have had a concern about something, we have been listened to and care taken to address the issue.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home as, in our experience, they are truly caring.

Dad has just recently come to Meadway Court, and we visited for the first time this weekend. It was his birthday and the staff put on a splendid afternoon tea for us. Every member of staff we met over our three-day visit were amazing. They have got to know Dad in a short space of time, and they all care for him extremely well. Nothing is too much trouble. Dad is blind and needs extra help with many things. They are always cheerful. Dad seems very comfortable and relaxed, and has nothing but good things to say of Meadway Court.

My friend's needs are well catered for. Care is taken to make sure they are clean, well dressed and comfortable, as this is something they are unable to do independently.

The staff I come across are helpful and pleasant and I can see that they know my friend not just as a resident, but as an individual person who had a very interesting life before requiring the support of a care home.

The office staff are always very welcoming on arrival to the home.
