My mum arrived in June 2017 for a short stay while we found a home for her. We trailed the whole of Stockport and under pressure chose the best of a bad bunch. I walked in to Meadway defeated to tell my mum, who in so many weeks and months had gained so much independence and happiness in such a short time at Meadway to explain that I had found a bed in a home, the best in a bad bunch but nothing like Meadway. The staff greeted me and I was very upset. Mum was already near the top of their list for a room. Within in a few weeks she was given a room and I have never ever looked back. My mum is having an amazing time and the staff at Meadway are outstanding. This is by far the best in Stockport and Tameside.
Thank you for your kind feedback.

Staff went above and beyond our expectations.
The staff were caring, courteous, not only to my mum and us as a family but to each resident living there.
We sat for hours by mum's bedside and never heard a cross voice to anyone, only kindness and patience.
They offered us refreshments and cared for us in every way.
Thank you for your kind feedback.
They were always friendly, welcoming and helpful to me and other family members.
They do as much as possible to create 'home' and not 'A home'.

My 98 year old Nan was admitted to Meadway Care facility after being in hospital and unable to return home after a family breakdown and miscommunication from the NHS. As an emergency measure, Meadway opened their doors and their hearts to my lovely Nan. She spent 5 months in their attentive care being as stubborn as ever, not once leaving her room throughout her stay! However, the staff, from management down, all treated her with respect and dignity with many laughs along the way. Nan was able to return to her own home November 2017. Many thanks to all staff concerned, in particular, the manager.
Meadway Court is a credit to both management and staff, who are caring and supportive and always available for advice. My mum is now a full time resident, she has severe dementia and due to the nature of her illness has at times been very anxious and difficult to handle. I am pleased to say she has...
Her physical wellbeing has also improved, although the staff are under a great deal of pressure due to lack of funding and cutbacks, they always find time to spend with my mum to offer reassurance and encouragement when needed. I have a 250 mile round trip each week to visit my mum; staff communication is excellent. They keep me informed of any issues or concerns between visits. I cannot thank them enough for their patience, empathy, compassion and sense of humour. They are always welcoming and the knowledge that my mum is safe and happy is a great endorsement to their skills and dedication, and a great comfort to me.
Thank you for this wonderful comment. All at Meadway are pleased we are making a difference to your mum's well being and are giving you peace of mind.

Also the cleanliness of the commode it becomes dirty and does not get cleaned by the staff. Food is ok but a greater level of attention is needed, especially to those who are in need of 24-hour care.

Living abroad, and having an elderly mother in the UK, needing care, it was a difficult decision to find a good care home . However, I think I have found it at Meadway Court. My mother has been there for four years and I am very satisfied with her care there. The staff seem to know what special attention each resident requires, and is careful to show this. Management and staff are always willing to discuss any problems regarding her care, and will do their utmost to resolve these difficulties. My best moment was when my mother said to me "I am quite content here".
Came in this care home and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Meadway is a very efficient caring home. All the staff are very pleasant and cheerful. My husband seems to be very well looked after and is settled there, however there is no place like home. But unfortunately I could not care for him to the level required. The management are very caring and at the same time very professional. I do not hesitate in recommending Meadway Court.
