This home feels more like a 4-star hotel than a care home. The food and service is good and the regular open day events are fun and professionally run. There is never an old people smell or urine smell. It's kept scrupulously clean and tidy. My grandmother is treated with respect and love which is obvious. Staff are kind, patient and efficient. Fantastic care home!

A warm welcome at the door by the manager to start with. Had afternoon tea the residents and all of them I spoke to were completely happy with the home. The surroundings were clean and modern with large PVC windows giving an airy atmosphere. I felt happy to be there and if I was 20 years older, I would reside there. Best care home I've seen in Southport.

We had a good congregation of mostly ladies with just a couple of men. Everyone seemed to enjoy the service and sang well. We always have a good welcome, my husband and I, and a cup of coffee awaits us most months. All seemed well and keen to chat before and after the service. As always, we had a good experience and always look forward to our monthly visits.

First impressions of Connell Court are that it is clean, bright, cheerful and well run. The ratio of staff to residents is good and there is a good rapport between the residents and staff. My aunt is content and happy there and enjoys the food. Staff are ready to respond with patience to her needs and requests. I am glad for her to be there.

This shows the staff worked hard to help in this. My sister in her words is happy and made friends. The staff inform me of necessary details I.e like a fall.
I've been in a number of homes and Connell Court is bright nobody smells, good stimulating displays with activities to keep mind and body working. How kind for cards and girls presented at Christmas and Easter etc.
I can rest assured my sister is safe and cared for especially as we are so far away.

My experience of Connell Court MHA Home, Southport is excellent. I visit my mother 3 or 4 times a week, know the staff and trust the home to look after my mother as she deserves. The building is lovely, set in huge gardens which in the summer are used for holiday events such as strawberry teas and a garden party.
